Anders Anderson - headed by a non-JW to ensure an impartial and unbiased view.
JW will have a hard time swallowing that!
Even more so if it's a woman. -

It starts at 30.00 February 2018 monthly broadcast.
It's an interview with the Schiller family. They were married Sept. 16, 1972 and have 6 children. They were doing substitute circuit work early on when there were five children and he doesn't think the kids knew what they were doing. In 1989 they were pioneering and had the opportunity to help out at Bethel a week or two at a time. When Paterson was being established they made themselves available to work there, utilizing his services as a Doctor. The response that came back was how quickly were they able to sell their house and move up there. So they moved and sold their house at a loss. He says they learnt pretty quickly not to turn down any privileges, even though they had six kids, the oldest was 17 at the time.
They got to thinking that other parents require their kids to go to college, so they required their kids to pioneer for a year. All of them kept pioneering and supported themselves with jobs like cleaning, lumber yards and roofing. None of them have a complicated life that holds them down. Their kids keep in contact and they made their own decisions, since it is God that owns their children. The point being, don't turn down opportunities
I wonder if these parents also chose marriage mates for their children as it seems that they were brought up in a highly controlling family. Maybe he had been also and was made to go to college but found relief in his highly demanding career by devoting himself to the JWs.
There's a lot more to this story than what was told. -

I think that there may have been a letter to say that any accusations should be thoroughly investigated regardless of their being two witnesses but it did not say that a JC should be held if there was not two witnesses or a confession. I can't remember where I saw this.

Of all the tales he could tell he relates two experiences of using public toilet facilities, neither of which were of any consequence at all. I think this was an attempt to express the racism that he has had to deal with.
I remember one time when we stopped at a gas station. After filling up the tank of our car, I asked the attendant if Gloria could use the restroom. He just glared at me and said, “It’s locked.”
Really? There are numerous reasons why they don't want you using their restroom and many of them will lock it. We've been refused on the odd occasion and we haven't been to one for over twenty years simply because they border on being rude when you ask. It used to be law that they had to make it available and they didn't like it.
Maybe they thought his wife was too butch looking with her male looking haircut, or it was the way he asked on behalf of his wife, why didn't she ask? But to relate this as an experience, I think, he is having a lend of his readers and the Watchtower for allowing him to relate it.I went to use the men’s restroom, and I noticed that a very rough-looking character, tattooed like a white supremacist, got up and followed me. But a white brother, far larger than either me or the rough-looking customer, came in after us. “Is everything all right, Brother Herd?” he asked me. The other customer left quickly without using the facilities.
He states that the guy was tattooed like a 'white supremacist'. Surely you don't stop and relieve yourself if you think your life is in danger. You don't go into a public toilet without assessing your surroundings. There is always a risk whether your male, female, black, white, young or old. Cleanliness is an issue all of its own but safety is paramount.Maybe it would be more appropriate if he was to remind himself of what they have done in relation to the protection of children and what they plan to do.
He uses a great portion of his life story discussing color but doesn't actually mention what his ethnic origin is.
Another comment which is amusing and makes me wonder if he is having a lend of everyone is the way he describes his wife as being like the 'Hope Diamond'. This is hilarious when you look at what the hope diamond is and represents.
From WikipediaThe Hope Diamond is one of the most famous jewels in the world, with ownership records dating back almost four centuries.....The Hope Diamond has long been rumored to carry a curse, possibly due to agents trying to arouse interest in the stone....It is classified as a Type IIb diamond, and has changed hands numerous times on its way from India to France to Britain and eventually to the United States, where it has been regularly on public display since....Since the Smithsonian acquired the gemstone, the "curse appears to have gone dormant."[10] Owning the diamond has brought "nothing but good luck" for the nonprofit national museum,..

Stan Livedeath - they ran some articles a few years ago but didn't do all the GB members. Without a doubt it's shining the light on themselves, blowing their own horns. You would think that a more appropriate time to be doing this sort of thing would be at their appointment, not years later.
Without fail, they fail to address the most important aspect of their appointment, their personal claim of being anointed.

They have no shame. They try to give the appearance that it doesn't happen in their church and that there are no Elders who have been child abusers and turn around telling parents they shouldn't be so trusting.
They are responsible for so much for both past victims and future.

The May 2018 Watchtower is now out and thought I would make a few observations.
In this article we get a story about GB Sam Herd. The recurring theme throughout is the struggles he has had as a black man.
He was born in 1935 in a one roomed log cabin in Liberty Indiana. His mother raised him in the Baptist Church. He served 2 years in the USA Army stationed in Germany. He had grown up, learning to be a macho man. One day, two JW girls, who had given him Watchtower mags before, waved him over as he was driving his red convertible through town. He promised the girls that he would think about attending a book study.
He did attend and was impressed how much Bible knowledge the children had and was determined to learn more. His eyes were opened by learning that God's name was Jehovah. He was baptized in 1957 and was happy to have learnt what real manliness was. He learnt Jesus didn't fight and that he needed to be gentle to all. He started pioneering but in 1958 stopped as he married one of those young ladies that invited him to the book study, Gloria. Soon after their marriage in 1959 they applied for Bethel service but were told that they were not taking in married couples at that time. They were assigned to pioneer in Pine Bluff, Arkansas where there was one white and one black congregation, they were assigned to the black one. He statesYou may be wondering why segregation would be practiced in congregations of Jehovah’s Witnesses. And the answer, put simply, is that there was little choice back in those days. There were laws in place to make it illegal for the races to mix, and there was also the very real threat of violence. In many places, the brothers had good reason to fear that if the two races met together for worship, their Kingdom Hall would be destroyed. Such things did happen. If black Witnesses preached from door to door in a white neighborhood, they would be arrested—and likely beaten up. So in order to get the preaching work done, we obeyed the laws, hoping that things would change for the better.
They had applied to be special pioneers and it was a long wait to be accepted. In 1965. He was assigned as a CO. He continued in the travelling work and in 1997 was invited to the US Bethel Service Dept. A year later he was appointed to be a helper on the service committee and in 1999 became a GB member.
The first article is about peace and this comment is madeWe also contribute to peace when we approach government officials in a respectful way—including those who may oppose our work.
I'm not sure what they had in mind when they asked everyone to bombard the Russian Government with letters of protest or how respectful they were by saying that it doesn't need to be written in Russian.
The next article is about enurance in bearing fruit and the emphasize that -Each person will receive his own reward according to his own work.” (1 Cor. 3:8) The reward is according to the work, not according to the results of that work.
The whole article seems geared towards the idea that it may be tough witnessing, with little results but that doesn't matter.
The following articles discuss Satan and his influence and makes numerous assumptions. Then the last articles are directed to young ones and the focus they must have. This comment stands out in particular -The hope of Paradise helps me put secular goals in perspective,” she adds. “I don’t try to cash in on my talents or attempt to climb the corporate ladder. Instead, I’m investing time and energy in spiritual goals.”
Who in their right mind would not make the most of their talents when it comes to things like the secular work they do and the same for taking the opportunity to get a better job or advance because it benefits the whole family or yourself without a negative impacts. -

I wondered if it was the beautiful violin they used in their 2016 Paradise video but the one they are selling looks more worn. (2.58)
