Yes Joe, this was done by a Youtuber called Apostates anonymous aka smurf girl. She claims to have started the whole rumour. She also says that she was used by the GB to Chanel through automatic writing when she was young.

Shepherdless - In WA there are some little worm-like ones (I can't recall their name) that are less than a foot, and even they can potentially kill.
I think they are called Dugites. We had something like that enter our house a few years ago. We live in WA but had never seen anything like it. With three children it was a real worry. We weren't sure if it was poisonous or not. Hubby managed to find it and kill it which wasn't easy. We could have called in a snake handler or whatever they're called but blokes in Australia tend to be raised to learn to deal with problems like this. -

Here's some good advice from one website
- Generally, the “prettier” the snake looks, the more likely it is to be poisonous. Snakes tend to hunt at night (so don’t go out at night), but also like lying in the sun (so don’t go out during the day)

JW stopped me in the street.....
by Phizzy inhe pulled up in his car beside me and asked for directions, then he recognized me, we used to be in the same congo.. the usual pleasantries, i gave him directions, and then "when are you going to come back then" he asks.. "never" i say, "well, it has all changed" he says, " it's not like it used to be" i detect a tone of regret.. "but you know there is nowhere else to go" he boldly proclaims.. "yes there is !
" say i, "there is somewhere where you can find truth, and truth is supported by facts and evidence ".
he had to drive off then as he was blocking a narrow street, i did not get time to say " go to jw facts.com", i will tell him next time..

From what I've heard, they have the words for the song played on their screens. Apparently, it's to encourage them to sing more heartily.

Socks :)
I find it hard to buy presents because a lot of presents are not really wanted.
Maybe a case/tool box/chest/organiser for some of his bits and bobs.

It makes you wonder what the average JW feels when they attend the meetings these days. Long gone are the days when one meeting was held in a persons home as a very small group. Now the meetings are taken up with a lot of pre-recorded videos presented by people they don't personally know, or even worse, by shadow figures or cartoons.
Not even the songs are sung without looking at a screen. It's become more impersonal. Soon, if not already, they'll have all their personal details logged on a computer system.

It's very surprising to hear that the youngest volunteer EVER to have worked on the project is as old as 19 years of age. I would have thought there would be plenty of youths ready and willing to work. Sounds like they've put a restriction on age which is a great thing considering how vulnerable young ones can be in that organization.

Randy Wall case linked to on JWdotORG
by neat blue dog inunder "breaking news" on jwdotorg, there is a link to a court case in canada that was just resolved on may 31st.. https://scc-csc.lexum.com/scc-csc/scc-csc/en/item/17101/index.do.
it's in regard to him being disfellowshipped, and the court says they can't get involved.
jwdotorg gives this statement about their victory:.

In a unanimous decision released on May 31, 2018, the Supreme Court of Canada recognized that the disfellowshipping arrangement should remain free from court intervention. We rejoice in this vindication of Jehovah’s righteous standards.—Isaiah 33:22.
They are are so quick to boast about it that they make a claim which is not true. They make a general statement but their victory is only limited to this case and the precedents already set out by the courts.
There could arise circumstances that due to the disfellowshipping arrangement of the church an individual would be able to successfully sue through court involvement.
During the court hearing it was acknowledged when the courts could become involved - it relates to inflicting intentional emotional distress.
This is from a website advising when a religion could be sued
EMOTIONAL DISTRESS
The infliction of emotional distress is grounds for a lawsuit in most jurisdictions. However, it is strictly limited to the intentionaIlinfliction of emotional distress. That is, the plaintiff must prove that the actions of the defendant were motivated by the desire to cause emotional distress.
I imagine this is the very reason a JC will be delayed when it comes to the Elders attention that there is a chance of suicide.
It may also be a reason why many Elders will take a step backwards in dealing with a JW who says they are dealing with personal problems.
It would be good if JWs/exJWs considered how best they could use this fact before or during a JC.
As an example, the Elders could be told that if they go ahead with dfing they will be responsible for the shunning that results from their public announcement which you feel will cause untold emotional damage to you.
Its no wonder that they like to say that it's not them that are causing this distress but the blame lays squarely on the shoulders of the dfd one, who by their own actions, brought this on himself.
The idea that they 'desire to cause emotional distress' could possibly be demonstrated by the idea that they use disfellowshipping as a form of blackmail and not simply to keep their congregations clean since they choose to ignore sinners who don't confess and there are not two witnesses.
Their disfellowshipping arrangement is cruel and it was pointed out by Judge Mclellan at the ARC.
