Many of those documents show unusual names as the purchaser. For example, the property at 21 Clark Street was sold to a buyer caller '21 Clark Street Property owner, LLC'. Many of the properties sold are similar.
I can't understand how a Limited Liability Company could be created with the same name as the property address. Where would the money to purchase the property come from?
Is it possible that the Watchtower set up these Limited Liability Companies and 'purchased' their own property and although a monetary value was listed in the documents no actual money was paid/transferred. In this way, all the properties could be transferred to private owners (those listed as directors of the LLC) thus reducing the Assets belonging to the Watchtower.

JWLEAKS.ORG is back for 2019 with a Scandal
by jwleaks inyep, we are back after taking some extended time off.. the jwleaks.org website had been archived for some time.
i was concentrating on other jw-related projects in relation to say sorry.. but the governing body of jehovah's witnesses, who no longer claim to be infallible, decided that in their fallibility the best use of 'dedicated funds' would be to launch civil action against me in a us federal court.
to this end watch tower bible and tract society of pennsylvania, inc., sent their attorneys after me.

Vienne - Recent sales of similar property suggest it would sell for nearly 100 dollars an acre.
Now there's a scandal ;) I wish I could find farmland for that price in Australia, that is dirt cheap. Even Tasmania would do.

I've see it before. It's really amazing that they would use a song from Queen, especially considering that Freddy was gay.
I wonder how many of those JWs who saw or were involved in this skit have seen the recent movie, Bohemia Rhapsody?

How to peddle Doomsday for Fun and Profit
by TerryWalstrom injames ussher (1581-1656).
your name is ussher – james ussher – and you are the archbishop of all of ireland.. you are living in the 1600s and are obsessive-compulsive when it comes to speculative ideas.
you are convinced that you alone have the intellect to figure exact dates of all the major events in the bible actually.

You are such a gifted writer and your threads are always a pleasure to read, this one especially so.
A great many clever and imaginative Christians had their own unique ideas. Some printed and published those schemes along with charts and dates and all sorts of crackpot speculations."
Edit (This is my comment and shouldn't be in quotes) Immediately the current 'generation' chart came to mind, they can't help themselves because they have let themselves be influenced by them but they lack any credibility.
I am wondering if the Warchtower ever printed a chronological breakdown with precise dates as to how they determined that man has lived on earth from Adam as being 6,000 years to Sep/Oct 1975?

Anthony Morris's talk "Beware of the Birdcatcher. " He does tend to exaggerate just a little
by RULES & REGULATIONS inmassachusetts saturday afternoon fall 2005. .
here is a talk that anthony morris gave at a local congregation in 2005, titled ''beware of the birdcatcher.
'' he has everyone laughing in stitches in the first fifteen minutes.

Why doesn't he mention their names? There could be a number of reasons
- it didn't happen
- it did happen but the story is exaggerated
- now 14 years on, are they still JWs today?

Does any other denomination change Doctrines as often as JW's?
by TerryWalstrom inwould i err in stating most religions and denominations have set doctrines?and yet, the watchtower's version/rendition of christianity is riven with contradictions which stem from changing predictions, policies, doctrines, and interpretations seemingly adrift from foundation or principle.wouldn't you think the constant upheaval, sifting, churn, and reorganization bespeaks whim, mood, uncertainty, and wilful speculation more than divine guidance?there's something endemically jittery and insecure about this religion which i would opine has more than a little to do with unstable mental affect than mere whimsy.what's your take on this?.

Zeb re the CARC -There was no defence uttered no holy spirit evident.
Great point. The CARC also demonstrated that there was no HS evident with the policies that they already had in place.

"This system will probably be over in about 5 years"
by john.prestor ini don't think i shared this story yet, it's strange and although i did a little detective work trying to figure out who said what and when i never found out much, big surprise, jehovah's witnesses love their secrets as we all know... but i thought other posters might find this interesting both in and of itself, because of what an elder told me one sunday back in 2011, and because of what it could imply as to high-ranking jehovah's witnesses prophesying the date of armageddon.
specific dates went out the window in 1975, although governing body helper ken flodin hinted at 2040 in a talk uploaded to jw.org a couple years back, and the governing body hinted at 2034 in a watchtower back in the 90s.
but it might be, just might, that more specific date-setting still goes on behind closed doors in certain circuits.... so after i went to "meetings" and talked to witnesses for a couple years at a rural congregation in the eastern united states an elder pulled me aside one service into the vestibule at the hall, in other words, into a private area where no one would overhear us.

In the past they've always had the 'within this generation' to use as a biblical basis for their stance but now they have nothing, other than their frenzied suggestions.
