Was anyone removed from Bethel for suggesting the Governing Body were the "Faithful Slave"?

i remember reading somewhere a reference to ones at bethel being removed for suggesting that the governing body was the faithful and discreet slave, years before the org.

made this change.

am i wrong about this?

Diogenesister - Remember JW fairy tale? Another guy who gave up because of LE. He made this video 6 years ago....now I'm really confused...

As an aside, it's amazing that Tom (JW fairy tale) said in 2017 that he was just giving a heads up to the listeners, five years before it would come out, that it looked like JC was a pedo.

Tom was pretty heavy with this suggestion . So much so, that his mates asked him to tone it down a little bit (not the volume but the way he was wording his suggestion). As part of the Vast Appostate Army, they didn't want to be sued by LE and he said he would be doing just that. He never did though.

Tom was on another VAA video where he presented as much information as he could that led him to personally think that it wasn't unbelievable that LE was involved with a 14y/old. With all the ranting and raving from LE, I never saw him answer the question as to how old was the youngest girl that he had sexted.

The VAA knew about Marko and his claim at that time. I think they were directed to a Facebook post by someone claiming to be Marko (related to DE). VAA tried to do some research on this Marko and I don't know how far they got with that and how much Kim & Mike were involved or even whether it was them that directed the guys at the VAA about the Facebook post. I don't think the VAA had sufficient evidence to prove the accusation as being credible.

Within a short time, Marko deleted his Facebook account which I think had only existed for a couple of years and was extremely sparse.

If you listen to that video with Tom speaking in 2017 a huge problem becomes apparent.

There are now two different stories about what Marko claims LE did.

In 2017 it was a case of him jacking off to a 14 year old in his congregation through cybersexting and his wife caught him out through his phone.

This Marko now claims (through providing a chat transcript) that LE met a 14 y/'old girl on a dating site and met her in a car park.

They are two very different accusations and doesn't make Marko look credible.

Now Marko has disappeared from social media once again.

If I was in contact with Marko I would want to know why there is this whopping discrepency.

It doesn't matter what you've done for the ttatt if the flaw that you have as an individual works against the protection of the vulnerable, including abused females, males and children. If you can't even emphasise with their hurt then few people want to listen to you, far less than be interviewed by you.

Simon needs to be mentioned as well. The many hours, too numerous to keep count of that has gone into providing and maintaining this forum has provided a wealth of information over many years. The disclosure of Watchtower being a DPO of the UN in real time on this forum is is just one interesting piece of history. It's also provided plenty of support to many.

Does anyone know what happened to all the money that was donated to AAwA which Lloyd ran?

I don't think he's a mole. The Watchtower wouldn't have gone so far as to try to have him dismissed from the IISCA enquiry. Although it was interesting in itself as to why they tried so hard. Was he an embarrassment to the Watchtower?

One of his other bad pranks that he pulled was when he was given the opportunity to speak to one of the GB members. He had been given some direct phone numbers and he ended up speaking directly to Tony Morris. Of all things, he chose to question him on 'tight pants'. With all the exJWs that have been hurt by this religion in one way or another, he chooses to that.

There was also Barbara Anderson who accepted the second most prominent position of the newly formed AAWA, after Lloyd and she resigned within a very short period.

Kim and Mike state in their latest video that they have other information that they are unable to share. I am wondering if that information is evidence that makes the accusation provable beyond reasonable doubt?

In their YouTube they don't present the accusation as being just that, an accusation but talk about the evidence they have already made public and what was disclosed within that, as being factual.

It was Kim Brooks that posted the statement by Marko the other day and she states she did so to protect his identity. I don't know why a person's identity needs to be protected when they are making such a serious claim. It was Kim/Mike that knew to was this same Marko that posted the emails claiming to be between Lloyd and a 14 year old. They congratulate him for doing so on this thread.

Mike/Kim posted this comment about six days ago on this thread -

Back in 2017, many of us contacted the British authorities, only to be told "Without a victim, without first-hand knowledge, like his wife, AND the perp fled the country,...NOTHING can be done"
Croatia authorities were contacted, "The crime was committed in Britain, so unless a crime is committed in Croatia, nothing can be done"

A number of ex JWs say they have now reported this claim, including Marc. I believe Marc & Cora are supportive friends of Kim & Mike so I don't think Kim & Mike would be happy to see them report to the police unless there was very credible evidence. But it's not being presented to us/publicly and it could be that they are trying to protect certain people.

But why be happy to see some allegations being presented publicly, even being a catalyst for it knowing that it could not be substantiated? Since Mike & Kim have been happy to see this Marko present new 'evidence', it would suggest, going by Kim & Mike's comment above, that one of two things have recently happened.

That is -

They have found the victim who is willing to testify and/or

Lloyd's wife is willing to testify (and present any evidence that she has, if those emails are real she would likely be the source of them)

I don't believe the set of emails were ever presented publicly when the claim originally was made by Marko a number of years ago. Why not? Why would Lloyd's wife give them to him now when he broke her trust with private information a number of years ago?

Marko has also closed his twitter account very recently.

None of this is making much sense and anyone claiming to have contact with Marko aren't coming out with any information that is logical or makes it all credible.

If you believe him to be a real person, can you provide the evidence? Do you know if Marko has made any other ex JW 'friends'?

Over on reddit Truthdoesnotchange wrote this comment about the recent pdf statement by Marko

The metadata in the document shows it was written by Kim Brooks. She and her husband have a long and antagonistic history with Lloyd and have been known to peddle in misinformation before. The document itself is largely being promoted by accounts on twitter and this sub that were created around the same time this controversy started. At this point, the i think it is wise to treat this statement with a healthy bit of skepticism.
