will you please explain to me the understanding of how the 7 trumpet blasts in revelation were fulfilled?
has it already happened?
If I understand the Organization they have taught how prophecies quite often have more than one fulfillment and it wouldn't be any surprise that they say new light has shown that this trumpet prophecy was fulfilled as they say currently but that it will be fullfilled again.
For instance, it's like the prophecies that were spoken by Jesus and his apostles such as the destruction of Jerusalem. It was fullfilled in its destruction but is to be fullfilled again.

How do you know that these trumpets prophecy only pertains to the 1/3 that claim they are christians? What about all the other false religions that bow down to all sorts of God's? Christian identify Jesus' existance (now or to come) but only form part of the total of believers of false religion.
Wasn't this very narrow minded of the GB not to identify the curse that would also be upon all other religions and worshipers of false gods?
i was stunned when i read that according to jws jesus is not the mediator to all those baptized and this is not available to all mankind although the benefit of his position as mediator is.

Thank you Wannabefree, you have put it so much better than I did and I am also very confused about it. I also take it really serious as this isn't some small doctrine. It goes to the heart of our relationship with both Jesus and Jehovah. It is as serious as the doctrine of the trinity and we know how the JWs abhore that.

That is a very important scripture and very much establishes the importance of Jesus and that is why I can't understand the way the JWs say it is exclusive to the annointed ones.
They explain it away by saying that this relationship exists with the annointed only but we all can benefit from this arrangement. But whatever explanation they use I still cannot understand why they say this exclusiveness exists but then all must pray through Jesus.

It is stated in the bible to ask through Jesus' name.

The only thing that I can find that justifies the great crowd/other sheep to pray through Jesus is to show respect for this arrangement that he has with the annointed but we do not pray through anyone else simply on the basis that we are showing them respect, it should be because it is a god given demand.

Is this correct? If it is then what biblical evidence is used to show that those faithfull between Jesus establishing the new convenant and the year of 1935 are only going to heaven? If this is not the case and people dying during that period may have an earthly resurrection then doesn't that put into question the idea that the JWs had that from it's establishment up until 1935 all JWs had the heavenly promise?

The above quote is taken from the above mentioned watchtower but raises more questions than it answers. EW Bullinger was also an Anglican Clergyman, so wasn't he considered as being from the churches of Christendom by the JWs? Why are the JWs using his comments because it supports their idea? Why do they need to source opinions from other scholars?
