Yes, no contest. We already had what could be viewed as a debate right here on JWN. Cedars walked away with no further comments to make.

Watchtower 12 1/15 has this to say regarding the anointed on earth and their role
Where would those in the new covenant serve? On earth, where, as a group, they would serve as a priesthood, representing Jehovah to people by ‘declaring abroad his excellencies’ and providing spiritual food. (Matt. 24:45; 1 Pet. 2:4, 5) After their death and resurrection, they would serve with Christ in heaven as both kings and priests , fully carrying out the functions of both offices. (Luke 22:29; 1 Pet. 1:3-5; Rev. 1:6)
It would appear that the the majority of anointed on earth are a part of the priesthood whose only role is to spread the good news but it makes no sense as the other sheep also have this role.

Well done, you were right to question the teaching back then, time has shown they were preaching falsely back then. The problem is that the new teaching is even more questionable.
I enjoy your video's and find you clear and direct with your presentations, you have all the makings of an excellant teacher.

CO talk at SAD appl. of 2 Thess. 1:8 & other mind control tactics
by Kensho innow that i am really "awake" at the assemblies i pay more attention to what the borg's traveling enforcers say and the talk he gave was some "new light" on 2 thess.
1:8 (probably his opinion).
paraphrased " there is a thinking that has crept in somehow in the minds of some brothers over the years that because jehovah is a merciful &loving god he will not destroy those who have not been reached with the good news in different parts of the world or my family or bible studies need just a little more time, well they need to read this script.. .

"because the GB tells me to report my time!"
That was quick. It was only a matter of time before they used they're newly created interpretation of the FDS to weild their power.
No doubt they believe that as they are the only ones who have ever been appointed as the FDS (from 1919) there is no precedent set by any biblical character/s as to how they are to carry out their governing. But they conveniantly forget that they have only approved themselves to carry out spiritual feeding, nothing more.

Another Lie/Revisionist History in todays WT study!!
by BU2B ini caught yet another revisionist history deception in todays wt lesson.. .
here is a quote from paragraph 4 of the 2/15/13 study edition.
"decades before 1914, jehovah's worshippers declared to the nations that the end of "the appointed times of the nations" would come in that year and that the world would enter into an unequaled period of trouble.".

Eden one
"I find really strange that the GB presents the understanding of the start of the 'Great Tribulation' being a future event as "new light", when the "old light" it supposedly replaces has alreaby been abandoned for well over 40 years and the understanding of the start of the "Great Tribulation" as a future event has been around for decades already."
It is strange and makes reading their articles all the more difficult. It has to be deliberate and it is probably to stop the flow of free thought. I think they've done a similar thing with the idea of when the bible is talking about Christ's presence as opposed to his coming.
How is a JW able to understand the 'deeper spiritual things' if they've got to go back over old teachings and work out how the new changes differ and on what basis.

Great work Doug.
You made this statement
"The GB has now expanded the "domestics" to include the "great crowd" class. This further diminishes any uniqueness of those claiming to be of the anointed (those who plan to rule earth from the government in heaven). This is the only mention of the "great crowd" in this magazine. They do not appear in the diagrams at pages 4-5 or 10-11. "
The moving of the other sheep from being identified as part of Christ's belongings to now being part of the domestics within the household is a big change but you've pointed out that they only mention them once in this article. It would seem that they are going to make future changes in their understanding here as well.

You're now claiming Simon is on the AAWA-wrecker ball bandwagon. You're just stirring the pot and it's not nice. Simon is trying to do the right thing here and he has done an excellant job. How about showing some respect for him? This is his forum!!!!!
