They don't want the JWs faith in them to be 'easily shaken' so they are trying to have them believe just how accurate they are with everything they say.

JW.ORG turning into an evangelical clone
by Pistoff ini clicked this link to the november 2017 tvjw video, in it they defend their 2 witness policy, though, gutlessly, they do not mention it in the context of child sexual abuse.. anyway, check out the christian jehovian song at 57:06, ugh, makes me nauseous.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ksz0qiftsok&feature=youtu.be&t=53m25s.

2 witness rule
by punkofnice ini'm gobsmacked.. the 7 rock star popes in warwick know darned well that the 2 witness rule allows child rapists to get away with their crime.. geoff (whacko jacko) jackson was at the australian royal commission and should have seen first hand what a vile man made law the 2 witness rule is.. my question is, why do they still insist on this pervert protecting rule?.
i know it's a highly controlling cult but still...........................stuff my old boots, mate!.
the above is more a rhetorical question.

Their two witness rule is really a two eyewitnesses rule in most cases, which include allegations of child abuse. There is a huge difference between these two.
They claim there are 8 million witnesses to Jehovah but there is not 8 million eyewitnesses to Jehovah. They have a number of reasons why they believe that they can claim themselves as being credible witnesses and none of them are because they have physically seen Jehovah. Yet they will not apply the same principles to a victim.

no pictures of Kingdom Hall remodels???
by Lynnie ini'm following an old friend on instagram who's an uber elder and he does lots of work on kh's and has gone to warwick on his own dime to help with the construction.
on his instagram post he says " i can't post pictures of the kh remodel but i can post pics of jack daniels that i had afterwards" or some such.
why aren't they allowed to take pics of remodels?

My guess is that they don't want those in the know or in relevant businesses estimating the real cost of a remodel rather than the watchtowers overinflated costings.

When did "The Last Days" of JW Organization Begin? Will This Generation See It End?
by steve2 ina growing discourse on this forum has been around what "the end" means.
as jws, many here spent varying proportions of our lives waiting for the end when an unsettling realization was that the end that approaches is more likely to be from old age than the world's end.
through the centuries, group after group, has claimed it has "inside" information on the end of the world, drawing in the desperate-for-comfort like moths to flames.

Possibly from the year when they started going backwards. Ending the home book study, reducing the hours for pioneer work and the length of the Sunday meeting.

The colours were meant to portray cold on the left and warm on the right, being blue and brown. That doesn't always work and in this case I see the blue as being cool and the brown as poo-ey.
Even the most ubber dub needs some time for entertainment and watching something that's exciting.

Alexandra James from JW Victims mentioned a great point that I'll elaborate on.
It's all fine and dandy to have a blog and Youtubes but what's also important is trying to find ways of getting JWs to look at them.

Even on their new Headquarters is a signage on the driveway leading up to the secured entrance. It has the JW logo, Jehovah's Witnesses and Headquarters. Watchtower is missing. -

November 2017 JW broadcasting HYPOCRISY!
by stuckinarut2 inok...so i am on a bit of a temper tantrum rant here...but if anyone has (endured) watched this month's broadcast, you will know what i mean!.
i have only watched 20 mins so far, and the hypocrisy is mind blowing.
they dare to go on about how thoroughly they research the material produced, so that errors are prevented etc.. for instance, the actually say how they ensure that a scientist is not misquoted, or that an "evolutionist" is not inaccurately quoted to make it seem like his comments are different to his intentions.

I just made a post over at Reddit about one of the claims towards the end of the video.
James "Jim" Mantz (a helper to the Writing Committee) says this -
"We cling to our accurate understanding of the Bible."
Their understanding of the Bible is their personal interpretation and he is claiming that it is accurate. It flies in the face of their 'new light' excuses. -

A former elder, or a rising YouTube star (I don't know who these people are) told his tale, making sure to include his and his son's partaking of the emblems at the most recent Memorial. I scratched my head about that one for a while. Do/did they really believe they were/are anointed? I would've probably stayed in if I was anointed. Could've made GB...
There are some JWs on learning TTATT come to a personal realization that being anointed is not exclusive to JWs who believe they have been selected by Jehovah to serve as Kings and Priests in heaven. They take the Bible as being specific to them as being born again Christians. That is why some ex JW Christians will partake at the Hall or privately at home or link up with others to hold their own memorial.
Ray Franz, who also believed that he was anointed, came to a realization that this position (being born again) was for all Christians and wrote about it in his book. He was amongst a group of JWs/Bethelites at HQ that would get together to study the Bible and also believed this.
From what I read, this is the situation with most JWs who hold onto their belief in God believe. Their are a large number of ex JWs that eventually become atheists. -

thebrokenkite - There were only about 40 protesters there, not anywhere near the 100 previously reported here
That was me and I stand corrected. I misunderstood a count that "Spoonfednomore" was taking. I did notice that Zeb was asked to take a count at one stage so we will probably get a more accurate figure later on.
At a guess, the other ex Elder you are talking about might be this guy known as "Spike R" on Youtube.
It sounds like you might be able to provide some practical advise for any future protests.
