I saw a Youtuber point out the same thing about the Watchtower's definition of faith the other day. It is an odd interpretation of faith, that doesn't make sense. Having an expectation in something doesn't demonstrate a conviction.
Wouldn't it be more accurate to say that 'faith' is the assured confidence in things hoped for or believed?

They use the scripture in Psalms 37 which says that the meek will inherit the earth, to support their idea that the other sheep will live on earth. Then they say it's not the other sheep that will inherit the earth, it's the anointed.
They are all over the place with their teachings.

as of january 2020, the jehovah’s witnesses branch committee in australia, under the direction of the governing body, have formed two disaster relief committees to provide spiritual and material help to bushfire victims in australia that meet the religion’s criteria.. two days earlier, on 8 november 2019 another jehovah’s witnesses company, “avs productions (australasia) limited” (avspa), was registered in australia to “record, produce, publish, and distribute or dispose by way of gift music, photographs, film, animation, and other intellectual property of a religious or charitable nature”.. both new jehovah’s witnesses corporations have registered with the australian charities and not-for-profit commission (acnc) as religious charities.. despite the audio visual and animation production objects of avspa this new corporation also claims to “support members of the worldwide order of special full-time servants of jehovah’s witnesses”.. these two new jehovah’s witnesses companies join the new and controversial management corporation, christian congregation of jehovah’s witnesses (australasia) limited (ccjwa), which was formed on 12 april 2019 to administer congregations, congregation charities, and bodies of elders.
and also to “support members of the worldwide order of special full-time servants of jehovah’s witnesses”.. ccjwa, despite being registered as a not-for-profit corporation with the australian securities and investments commission (asic), is yet to be approved as a charity by the acnc.
They've registered the name, 'Jehovah's Witnesses' as a business name. Even Rutherford would not have come up with that idea.
remember those pesky scriptures about 'put faith in jesus and you will be saved' & 'getting baptized without delay'?

before you can get baptized, there are a few other things you need to do.
What a loving provision to have the GB tell you what you NEED to do to get baptized and what you NEED to do after you get baptized.
They'll tell you what God's will is so that you can ensure you will be giving up your life to do it. What they don't tell you is that the Watchtower decides what God's will is.
Where would they be without the Bible GB?

I have one family member that has 'faded' and is more happier than ever. You just never know who will eventually wake up, there is always hope and it's nice being there to be of some support.

The Greens have never had the majority vote in Government on mainland Australia, I can't see how they can be blamed for final decisions the ruling Government chooses to make.
There is a lot to be learnt from this. New ways of dealing with the threat of fires and the fires themselves will be important.
There is so much suffering that comes from this and it the repercussions will be felt for some time. There is also a lot of coming together and supporting each other.
Our firefighters and volunteer firefighters are true hero's.

They also claimed, on this video, that they spent nearly $50,000,000 on relief work over the last two years. They didn't go into very much detail as to a breakdown of this spending but they did include approximately 700 Kingdom Halls which had been destroyed or damaged.
Do you believe that they call repairing or rebuilding their own buildings as relief workers?
I wouldn't be surprised if they also called payments to child abuse victims, relief work.

In the video we hear how Jehovah has performed miracle after miracle after miracle when it comes to buying land, building properties and getting licences.
In the speech that Loesch gave, he goes through some of the history of the Watchtower organization. He said that Rutherford saw himself as the leader of the organization but in 1942 he declared that he wasn't the leader but just taking the lead, as the bible says.
I don't know why Loasch admitted to this, maybe there will be new light and they will throw out all the false teachings introduced by Rutherford whilst he was acting as leader in the place of Christ, I doubt it though. But this was why many left the organization and to this day the GB talk about those ones as being unfaithful.
