Newly Enlightened, that's great. I contacted Julie advising her of the video a few hours ago so I would think that she would have done the same thing as she did with SmurfGirls video and lodged a privacy issue with YouTube. That would probably have resulted in it being taken down by YouTube. So it's much better that you've done it without getting a bad mark from YouTube. I do appreciate your work and I know you are sincere but sometimes a bad source can cause things to go wrong.

Watchtower Property Co. is a real business emloying people and I can only imagine it would be awful to be connected to the JWs when they aren't and also to have a phone call edited/manipulated wrongly.

Thanks for confirming about the phone call audio clip and that it wasn't you that edited it. The fact that Smurfgirl wouldn't give you the whole clip speaks for itself. The clip you had was even more cropped than the one she had put up on her channel.

I wish we could all trust each other and I hope this hasn't caused any distress for you or Mike. There's too much misinformation in the World these days and it's not easy to get to the truth of a matter.

You've helped a lot of JWs/ex JWs and your support and love for your fellow man is appreciated by many.

I am curious as to why you didn't include the whole of the conversation that SmurfGirl had with the Company?. It was only about two minutes long. I heard it when it was on Smurfgirls Youtube and Julie answers No to her question about whether they are connected with the JWs.

Did you edit that No out or did Smurfgirl?

I don't understand why you would expect me to mention information you presented about an entirely different issue as it has nothing to do with your claims about Watchtower Properties Co.

Are you okay with me informing Julie from that business of your claim and the misrepresented call that Smurfgirl made and you now have on your website? It's not fair that you do that to a real business and people and you've just taken Smurfgirls word for it.

Thanks Jeff T. I did have a look at that and found no links.

In her Youtube, Smurfgirl came up with a name that was a little similar to a name of a JW Director of the IBSA from years ago. As well as the phone call, that was the only evidence presented.

There's no link that I could find and the evidence shows the WBTS would have nothing to do with them.

Kim and Mikey made a YouTube yesterday claiming that a business called Watchtower Property Co. was connected to the Watchtower. They used a recording done by Youtuber Smurf Girl of a call she made to a Julie at the Company. I believe the call was doctored as it has her saying that (No) "We're connected to the Jehovahs Witnesses directly." The No was removed by someone as it was in the original recording on SmurfGirls channel. Her video was removed because of Julie notifying YouTube of a privacy issue.

This has now become a rumour shared amongst a number of exJWs and unfortunately just gives 'apostates' a bad name with such nonsense. But, they don't realise the potential damage they could be doing to individuals and businesses by such behaviour.

Watchtower Property Co is a real business with Julie acting as the Director for Leasing. I don't think it is kind to her or her business. I informed her of SmurfGirls YouTube shortly after she put it up so that she knew about it and could take action if she wished. I will be doing the same about Kim and Mikeys YouTube if they don't take it down but I want to give them the opportunity to do it themselves and not YouTube.

I don't know how else to stop this stupid rumour. It was started by Smurfgirl who claims she was an automatic Writer to some GB members as a girl. There are too many gullible ex JWs that believe what she has to say.

The Watchtower would never appoint a female as a Director of a Co. or put em in charge. A look at this businesses Facebook shows them celebrating every 'Worldly' holiday.

Smurf girl did a you tube on this topic yesterday. She said that 7 of the 9 Kingdom Halls in her area say “Permanently closed” on the website.

I find it astounding as to the number of ex JWs that believe this lady. She was on six screens podcasts many times with all sorts of strange stories. It includes the claim that she was an automatic writer for the Governing Body when she was little. She also claims that it was herself that was responsible for all the Smurf rumours when she made it appear there was a Smurf running down the eisle at a Kingdom Hall.

If you have another look at her YouTube, someone posted a likely explanation as to why there appears to be 7 KHs in her area that appear to be closed. It has something to do with not supplying information to Google resulting in them listing it as closed.

If they travelled from Victoria to Queensland even once a year to see family then they are not going to be seen as regular attendees as most.

Annie, you may already know the guy that has a YouTube channel called Watchtower History but I mention it in case you don't. He has done copious amounts of research and has letters, newspaper clippings and other items, including original letters from way back. I understand he is associated with a group of other researchers regarding the Watchtower.

and one of my jw relatives said they were told by some elders that meetings and field service will resume before the end of the year.. they said this covid virus was a test, like when the romans breached jerusalem and retreated, only to come back later and sack jerusalem.

Now is not the time to focus on Education, Entertainment, and Work, retirement, etc, but now is the time to exert onself and enter the full time service, brothers to reach out for Ministerial servant and Elder, and those studying to get baptized.

This is not a new message and therefore it can't be given a parallel of retreating out of Jerusalem. This has always been their message.

so i noticed one of the members here came to my jwtalk website, where i am an important administrator, and tried to join my site.. i check in here every so often and i was able to deduce that person was an apostate fraud, likely bent on polluting my site.

i denied their request to join.. ha!
