JeffT, thanks for your research and detailed information regarding the business directors. I agree with you. Smurfgirl used one of those directors names and claimed that because it was similar to an IBSA Director name from years ago that there must be a connection.
The Facebook page that belongs to this business shows them acknowledging every Worldly holiday on their pages. Hardly a thing that the WTBTS would do if they were directly connected.

Newly Enlightened/Kim, there are a few points to clarify about your comments on your Youtube Channel. I can assure you that I am not a Watchtower Troll, my posts here over years would demonstrate that is not the case. As for being a 'hater', it's a nasty suggestion, but what exactly am I or others hating? If it's hating you then you will find over the years I have defended you and Mike on many occasions and put down your mistakes as being human error or over enthusiasm. If it's hating misrepresentations then you would be right.
As for 'threatening' to contact Julie at Watchtower Properties Co., I made no such threat. I told you that I was intending on doing it so as to give you the opportunity of ether retracting your claim, proving it or removing the private conversation between Smurfgirl and Julie. Remember, you are the one that publicly made these claims (that they were associated with the WBTS) and the (edited) conversation without her or the private business without them being aware of it. Surely they have a right to know it was there on your Youtube, you posted your information publicly, were you hoping that it would be hidden or unknown to them?
There were no filing of complaints other than the one that Smurfgirl received from Youtube by (I assume) Julie or someone else from Watchtower Property Co. to Youtube which resulted in Youtube taking her video down. She/they had every right to do so given the publishing of her private conversation. Since that was just one complaint, what are these other complaints that you are talking about?
You're most extraordinary claim is that someone threatened you that they would contact Julie from Watchtower Properties and tell her to file a lawsuit against you to sue you for libel. Where on earth was such a claim made?
If your video was so right why did you remove it at all?

And I also want to mention that we took down our Watchtower Property Video because of, I mean, OMG it has been just unbelievable. Um, the biggest thing is over on JW.com and you know, I usually don't go over there much but, you know, a couple of people have sent me links to the conversation going on and if these people are exJWs then this is exactly what Mike and I have been talking about, you know, we don't know if they are Watchtower Trolls or just haters or what but they are actually threatening to contact that Julie of Watchtower Property and she sue us, file a lawsuit for libel .
So you can see, this is what we have to deal with all the time, all the time, you know, this is why, you know, Smurfgirl took her video down, because same thing, because they filed complaints and everything else.
So anyway, we are still investigating to see, you know, all of the connections and there's a lot of people we have found that, in their profile for other Real Estates, they actually say they are a partner in the Watchtower Property and so, you know, we are looking at that and many of you have sent me research and information about this Watchtower Property and some of the other, you know, Real Estate Property Management, you know, who are involved with them and so, anyway, we're still investigating but I just wanted to get everybody an update on the court case ....."

I contacted Julie advising her of the video a few hours ago so I would think that she would have done the same thing as she did with SmurfGirls video and lodged a privacy issue with YouTube. That would probably have resulted in it being taken down by YouTube. So it's much better that you've done it without getting a bad mark from YouTube. I do appreciate your work and I know you are sincere but sometimes a bad source can cause things to go wrong.
Watchtower Property Co. is a real business emloying people and I can only imagine it would be awful to be connected to the JWs when they aren't and also to have a phone call edited/manipulated wrongly.
Thanks for confirming about the phone call audio clip and that it wasn't you that edited it. The fact that Smurfgirl wouldn't give you the whole clip speaks for itself. The clip you had was even more cropped than the one she had put up on her channel.
I wish we could all trust each other and I hope this hasn't caused any distress for you or Mike. There's too much misinformation in the World these days and it's not easy to get to the truth of a matter.
You've helped a lot of JWs/ex JWs and your support and love for your fellow man is appreciated by many.

Thanks Jeff T. I did have a look at that and found no links.
In her Youtube, Smurfgirl came up with a name that was a little similar to a name of a JW Director of the IBSA from years ago. As well as the phone call, that was the only evidence presented.
There's no link that I could find and the evidence shows the WBTS would have nothing to do with them. -

Kim and Mikey made a YouTube yesterday claiming that a business called Watchtower Property Co. was connected to the Watchtower. They used a recording done by Youtuber Smurf Girl of a call she made to a Julie at the Company. I believe the call was doctored as it has her saying that (No) "We're connected to the Jehovahs Witnesses directly." The No was removed by someone as it was in the original recording on SmurfGirls channel. Her video was removed because of Julie notifying YouTube of a privacy issue.
This has now become a rumour shared amongst a number of exJWs and unfortunately just gives 'apostates' a bad name with such nonsense. But, they don't realise the potential damage they could be doing to individuals and businesses by such behaviour.
Watchtower Property Co is a real business with Julie acting as the Director for Leasing. I don't think it is kind to her or her business. I informed her of SmurfGirls YouTube shortly after she put it up so that she knew about it and could take action if she wished. I will be doing the same about Kim and Mikeys YouTube if they don't take it down but I want to give them the opportunity to do it themselves and not YouTube.
I don't know how else to stop this stupid rumour. It was started by Smurfgirl who claims she was an automatic Writer to some GB members as a girl. There are too many gullible ex JWs that believe what she has to say.
The Watchtower would never appoint a female as a Director of a Co. or put em in charge. A look at this businesses Facebook shows them celebrating every 'Worldly' holiday.

Smurf girl did a you tube on this topic yesterday. She said that 7 of the 9 Kingdom Halls in her area say “Permanently closed” on the website.
I find it astounding as to the number of ex JWs that believe this lady. She was on six screens podcasts many times with all sorts of strange stories. It includes the claim that she was an automatic writer for the Governing Body when she was little. She also claims that it was herself that was responsible for all the Smurf rumours when she made it appear there was a Smurf running down the eisle at a Kingdom Hall.
If you have another look at her YouTube, someone posted a likely explanation as to why there appears to be 7 KHs in her area that appear to be closed. It has something to do with not supplying information to Google resulting in them listing it as closed.
