They can't even keep their story straight. They usually say that individuals won't be protected but the organisation as a whole will.
As for stating that saving people will put God to the test doesn't sound right.

Smiddy, we are in WA where the borders are still closed but it's not going to stay that way so hubby and I decided to get the AZ and it means we can travel to Victoria.
Due to the closed borders, the second AZ jab is given 12 weeks apart as studies show that maximum protection is given by giving it at 12 weeks rather than earlier. They rushed the second jab over east due to the increase in infections.
We are due the second jab at the end of the month.
The Government will discontinue the supply of the AZ so if we have to get a booster it will be a 'mixed vax' which I'm not too happy about given that there's not much research available.

I hope not. There are many adults that work in front of screens all day.
I wonder if this satisfaction rating given by boys and girls is not because of spending time in front of the screens but as a result of not finding satisfaction in other activities.

Diogenesister - the two covenants mentioned in this article is not a new teaching but they don't talk about it often. The Insight book under 'Covenants' makes the distinction.
It looks like you are right about them always teaching that as Kings in heaven the will co-rule with Jesus. I didn't realize that they mean they won't be under Jesus but will be ruling alongside him. I can't find what Bible verses they use to support this idea.

Interestingly, they mention how the anointed are in two covenants. The new covenant and the Kingdom covenant. They claim that both of these covenants opened up the way for a small number to become Kings and Priests in heaven. I don't think they've been so specific about this before. They are distinguishing two covenants that do exactly the same thing.
They also write that once in Heaven, they will be serving alongside Jesus and that they are co-rulers. I never realised this before but they are teaching that they will be Kings together with Jesus, no longer serving under his rulership. This makes the millenial rulership of Jesus a nonsense as they are saying it is the rulership of Jesus and Russell, Rutherford, Tony Morris, Jackson, Herd, Lett, Splane and the rest.
However, further on in the article, they say that the anointed are serving under the leadership of Jesus. I guess they can't make up their mind. Other articles explain that Jesus is the High Priest and the anointed are underpriests so maybe that is the distinction.
They write that one of the reasons that the other sheep must attend the memorial is as follows -
16 Another reason why we attend the Memorial is that we want to obey Jesus. Regardless of our hope for the future, we take personally the command that Jesus gave on the night he instituted the Memorial: “Keep doing this in remembrance of me.”—1 Cor. 11:23, 24.
Since those scriptures include the instruction to partake then it must include the other sheep otherwise they are claiming that part of Jesus' instructions included the other sheep and the rest didn't. Jesus made no such distinction.
They are holding their memorial on Friday 22nd April.

I'm not surprised that the murmuring amongst the WA Elders is to question it.
This is what the GB Announcement says in part
The branches participating will select Kingdom Halls in areas where vaccination rates are high and infection rates are low.
The fully vaccinated rate in WA is only 53% whereas Vic and NSW are around the 70% mark. Although there are zero cases in WA and a couple of thousand cases per day in Victoria.
It would appear that they have chosen WA purely on cases rather than vaccination rates.
With NSW, in particular, opening up, it would be expected that WA could soon have a problem. Even though WA has a closed border policy, there are still many truck drivers and exempted persons from other states travelling in. I wouldn't be surprised if we, in WA are in lockdown fairly soon.
The Elders in WA will just have to be ready to shut the KHs and go back to what they have currently been doing when this does happen.

JW Gone Bad - Why else would WT, during the 2021 AGM, address this belly-aching the rank & file are having about the Ramapo Media Center if it isn't really becoming a problem?
It must seem a very strange thing that the Watchtower is doing by focusing on how important the building work is and that it's for Jehovah.
It's been indoctrinated into JWs how the door to door work sets them apart from every other religion and now that's been stopped for nearly two years.
They can't very well go telling Worldly people that they identify as the true religion because they are building media centres.
You could probably say that to many JWs it doesn't make sense from a human or strategic standpoint and I guess that's why they are suggesting they will be used in the New World.

1995 generation change
by Gorb innow, many years later, i remember the 1995 generation change, very well.. since early youth, hearing my father explaining in field service the 2520 years.
it was his main theme in the field.. with the change my doubts started.
with some jw friends we did not trust the organization anymore.

Was this part of the point that TD was making and the great hole in their teaching that still continues? That is, for decades the OS have been considered as members of the Great Crowd when they should never have been considered as such and as you point out Waton, they still continue to do so in their recent Watchtower.
Even now, with the new overlapping teaching of the generation means that they have provided a window up until approximately 2075 for Armageddon, meaning that millions of JWs today may not see Armageddon and therefore have no chance of being part of the GC. Saying that they have the prospect of being a member of the GC is one thing but saying they are part of the GC is not correct.
Did the article refer to today's JWs as the GC or potential members of the GC?

Anony mous - So their excuse to build a media center by 2026 is that this is for the new world.
They say it in one breath and then they tell the JWs that all they need to do at Armageddon is to hide since the authorities/gog of magog will be seeking them out. They could hardly hide in these colossal building complexes and if they really will be sought after, these buildings would be destroyed.
