During the great tribulation, we may receive instructions that seem strange, impractical, or illogical. Of course, Jehovah will not speak to us personally. He will likely provide direction through his appointed representatives.
He will LIKELY provide direction through the FDS during the GT? They don't even know if Jehovah will provide the GB with direction.
They are telling the R&F to follow these instructions even if they are strange, impractical, or illogical and now to do it even if they don't know if it is from men or from Jehovah because they are admitting that they only think is is likely it is from him - not definitely.

You've done such a great service for ex jw's and potential ex jw's.

Dijana was neutral about the sharing of information to the public.
This is another interesting piece of information. According to Lloyd, she asked him not to talk about her publicly.
There are a number of signals/suggestions that she is in an abusive relationship. It's possible that she wants all this to come out publicly but does not want to be seen as supportive of this due to potential repercussions from her abuser.
Unfortunately, one big problem in being in an abusive relationship is the abuser tries to bring their victim down to their level. The longer a relationship continues, the more this happens and the spiral downwards makes it even more difficult for the victim to get out.
There is a lot that you aren't saying about their relationship and some things that really concerned you. Since you are concerned about those 'following' Lloyd in the first instance, why haven't you come out with it all?

No doubt, Kim, that was something you had to weigh up carefully - Do you make the information public or do you keep quiet about it for a while longer in order to try and support Dijanna more. How did she react to you making it known public? I guess it was possible for Bob to continue to provide support is she wanted to.
Do you feel you were being used by Lloyd so that you could present him in a good light to his wife?

No one has asked me about what divorce, but this has been the case since around the time that Lloyd went to Thailand.
Really, I'm stunned. If you do read through this thread you will see that there has been a lot of concern about Dijanna (and the girls of course). We can only imagine the trauma that she has gone through and still going through. When you mentioned her 'breakdown' as you were talking to her, it was good to know that she finally had someone to listen.
What was the reason that Lloyd told you and Bob to look after her whilst he was galavanting? Did she have no one else to talk to?
When Lloyd was celebrating NYE he contacted you claiming that he was suicidal, what do you think brought this about?

in september 2004, farkel posted an article on this forum called "rutherford exposed: the story of berta and bonnie.

" his essay, which subsequently was translated into several languages and which received over 10,000 views after the first month, spawned a thread that ran 28 pages and contained the collaborative research efforts of many in jwd.

this thread was thought by some moderators to be the best in the forum -- not necessarily because of the claims in the original essay but because it inspired a staggering amount of research aimed at assessing the credibility of the claims made in the essay, as well as adding to our knowledge of this fascinating yet obscure chapter of watchtower history.
