  decisions were made by bishops, they were ratified by the pope ... and it was done.

  and the laity had to accepted them or not.. and while splinter catholic religions accepted most of these councils, non-trinitarian faiths which developed latter (of which jehovah's witnesses are apart) did not.

  This is from the 2007 1/1 Watchtower where they conclude that the resurrected anointed are involved in revealing new truths to them

  ” 11 What, then, can we deduce from the fact that one of the 24 elders identifies the great crowd to John? It seems that resurrected ones of the 24-elders group may be involved in the communicating of divine truths today. Why is that important? Because the correct identity of the great crowd was revealed to God’s anointed servants on earth in 1935. If one of the 24 elders was used to convey that important truth, he would have had to be resurrected to heaven by 1935 at the latest.   The stated focus of this study article is

  FOCUS
  Training ourselves to discern the difference between the truth we have learned from Jehovah and the falsehoods promoted by Satan and our opposers.

  Of course, the article goes on to claim that the truth is not only in the Bible, but also from the Watchtower organization.

  The first of two qualities needed to discern truth is -

  FEAR (of Jehovah)

  The article says that having this fear makes us eager to learn between truth and falsehood.

  It also talks about having fear in God, rather than men. This, as does most of the article, has nothing to do with the stated 'focus'.

  The second quality needed to discern truth stated in the article, is -

  HUMILITY

  Comments under this quality include

  Being prideful could lead us to consider our personal opinions to be just as valid as Scriptural principles and direction from Jehovah’s organization.
  Jehovah will help us put his thoughts, which he provides through his Word and his organization, ahead of our own.

  
  

  That's it folks, that's how you identify the Truth

  We can maintain our confidence in Jehovah’s organization. When it becomes clear that an adjustment is needed in our understanding of a certain Bible truth or in the way that the Kingdom work is organized, those taking the lead do not hesitate to make the necessary changes. (Prov. 4:18) They do so because, more than anything else, they want to please Jehovah. They also do their best to base their decisions on God’s Word, the standard to which all of Jehovah’s people must adhere.

  
  

  As expected, there's no discussion here between previous and current teachings, between truth and falsehoods.

  Instead, it says that they are not hesitant in making the required changes but why does it often take months or even years to do so? 'Not hesitant', they must be joking. They know there are so many untruths in the literature that have not been changed.

  They also say that they do their best to base their decisions on God's Word and acknowledge it is the standard to which we all must adhere.

  The fact is, they don't and won't acknowledge that their best is not good enough but if you don't like it, you've just got to accept it.

  It's a matter of whenever they want to make a change, they'll turn to the Bible and see what they can use there to back that change.

  This article isn't about Truth. It's all about when someone is not okay with their decisions (even when it doesn't accord with the Bible), they are not being humble or that they don't have fear of Jehovah by not accepting the direction of his organization.

  Other than one scripture, there was nothing explaining how to identify between truths and falsehoods.

  It's one thing to be stating that God brings forward Truths and that Falsehoods are from Satan. The problem with that idea is that there are falsehoods in the organization (that's part of being imperfect and fallible) and there are some truths coming from Satan (Wolf in sheep's clothing). They are not willing to teach followers how to discern the differences.

  For believers of the Bible, they were right in quoting Psalms 2:3-6 which tells us it is a hidden treasure that we need to keep searching for and it is from God, nothing about an organization there. JWs would rather be spoonfed than to do the searching.

  Halcon - What a claim. What scriptures did he use to support this?

  He didn't use any scriptures and it is the first time I have heard that the anointed were going to receive their own source of life and energy.

  Being given incorruptible bodies is in their literature but I can't find anything to show that receiving their own source of life is in there.

  I did find the following about Jesus -

  Watchtower 62 10/1

  36 The title “father” means a male parent, and a male parent means a progenitor, an author or source, one who begets or brings forth offspring. Since God was the Father of Jesus, was Jesus also dependent upon God for life? Only Jesus’ own words could give a convincing answer to this question. Note now these words of Jesus: “The dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself.” (John 5:25, 26, AV) God as the Father is the Source of life; and he gives to his Son the privilege to have life in himself. We can therefore appreciate what John 1:4, 5 (AV) says of the Word or Logos: “In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”

  They further state in the article that as Jesus has his own source of life, he is the power to resurrect and was given those keys.

  But whether they moved away from this teaching is not clear. There are numerous articles before and after this that state that only Jehovah is the source of life.

  He says that the anointed will have incorruptible bodies and be given what even the angels don’t have, only jehovah and Jesus - their own source of life and energy.

  He says JWs are privelaged to have what many will not have, that is, personal knowledge of the anointed (meaning the GB members).

  No doubt, this is how they justify blasting their faces into jws homes, on the assembly screens and on JW.org. It’s a privelage that they bestow on the r&f.

  How much more reverence can they call to themselves?

  More than one previous GB member put those laws into place before AMIII. If there was an evil slave, it couldn't be pinned on AMIII, it would have to be previous leaders.

  seems to me wt lawyers and witnesses cannot be trusted even under oath.. mara mitchell writes.

  as far as their family members are concerned, normal family relations continue with the exception of spiritual fellowship.”.

  attached is a video on how watchtower presents family members being treated by their family when defending themselves in court.. .
