to scream or not to scream

jw women have a greater need than jw men to stay ever vigilant and attentive of the watchtower's back and forth rules and regulations which they have the nerve to teach is "new light" from god.

depending on the "new light" from the governing body, if she doesn't scream during a rape, she will be charged by the elders as an adulteress ... someone who may have actually 'enjoyed' the violent act because of her silence.

if another jw woman was raped in 1969 and she didn't scream, she would not be disfellowshipped.

This happened to a friend of mine. She got raped not just once but twice by the same man and she got disfellowshipped for not screaming either times. The elders told her b/c she did not scream either time she must have wanted it. How sick can you get. The guy had scissors to her stomach and told her if she screamed he would kill her, her sister and her 3 year old nephew down the hallway.She is still in the truth.

Hi Rossebud, I went to the Densham Springs cong. I just miss alot of my old friends from there. Went there for 17 years. grew up there. started going there at age 7 till age 21. Just wondering if any old friends left there also.

we`ve seen some pretty mean usa bashing.so it`s time for a new thread about the good things in the usa..first off they got coors beer,a dam fine beer i must say.disineyland,what kid dosen`t want to go to disineyland?been there more than a few times and i intend to go again.tex-mex food,i`ll be dammed if i can get a decent enchilada this side of the border.the oregon coast with the giant red wood forest,a beautiful drive on a holiday.the humungas servings when you go to a usa restaraunt,especialy the steakhouse`s.so if you live in the usa,or go for a visit like i do,what are the things you enjoy in the usa?...outlaw edited by - outlaw on 2 july 2002 20:25:30.

The best thing I like about the USA is the freedom of religion. You can choose who you want to worship. Next is the best southern Louisiana cooking you will ever eat in your life. No place on earth like it.

Since I left the borg. I have found happiness. I got married to a wonderful man. I have all the basic necessities of life and a new found relationship with God. What more could any one need.

I have a friend who is a twin, their b-day is april 18th. His wife had twins on the same day. How much of a coincidence is that. How often does that happen?

Straw that broke the Camels Back

so, whats the straw that broke the camels back in your life?

what was the final last straw that made you say thats it- no more?

i have so many-for 15 years i kept getting that last straw-and trying to ignore it- but i think the last straw was when my dad died- everyone kept (keeps) giving me the line of bs about never seeing him again unless i go to meetings.

Well the straw that did it for me was this,I used to live with an elder and his family. I lived with them for 8 months. I caught a bad stomach virus and had to go stay with my parents till I was better. While I was sick she called and told me I had to move out. What started out a virus turned into a month long stay in bed not being able to hardly move because of pain. The entire time I lay in that bed not one person from the cong.(which I had gone to for 17 years)came to visit me. I lay there every day thinking of the wonderful "CHRISTIAN" love that was being poured into my home. I went back after I got better but started seeing a "worldly" man. The elders found out about him and that very week came to my home to council me on the no-no's of dating a worldly man. Needless to say I havn't been back since. I've been out 10 years and loving every minute of it.
