  SPIDERS!!!!

  last night, i'm lying in bed, getting all sleepy and comfortablehuge spider in the corner of my room!!!!!!

  eeeeeeekkkk!!!

  i rush from my bed and grab the vacuum cleaner and flip the switch...........and voila he's sucked up safely and hopefully very dead inside............feeling much safer and again serene, i climb back in bed and pass an uneventful, peaceful night.

  that reminds me of something my hubby told me that happened to him a long time back. My hubby works in Law Enforcement and had to go to a persons house and ask them some questions, he sat on their couch and before he knew it a hugh roach climbed his arm and into his ear. He went nuts and he said he could hear it moving around in his ear. He said it hurt very much and he had to go to the hospital and have it removed. He said it was the most embarassing thing to happen to him. I bet it really drove you crazy.

  looking at the smurf thread i was wondering, in my congregation in the 80's there were also storys of demonic cabbage patch dolls attacking jw kids.

  i wasn't allowed to have one because they might be demonized.

  was it just my cong.

  I've had it....

  yesterday evening my dog got an epileptic attack - peeing all over the tapestry and almost glueing at the floor with the foam at his mouth (it is very hard to remove).

  after the attack he wanted to "walk" pacing up the room (and backyard) for a long time.. .

  this night he was whining a lot - wanting outside... (which i allowed for at least 5 times - thus having not much sleep myself).

  okay you guys here is my story.....it might be a lil' long winded, but please bear with me....it's interesting.... well i have been away for 8 years...i stopped when i was 17 and i'm 25 now.

  it all started when i became a non baptized publisher at age 14. i was a very good speaker/reader.

  the elders were waiting for me to get baptized and encouraged me to do so.

  What do ya do when...

  you're 18, (considered an adult), want to move out of your parents house to get away from your dysfunctional mom, and can't because you feel guilty leaving your mom and dad because your parents have alot of health problems?.

  i absolutely cannot function in this environment.

  it's just nuts.

  I know exactly what you are going through. I went through the same thing with my folks, only I was 21. My mom would start on me about if I leave and she dies it would be my fault. I had to hide the fact that I was dating someone for several months. He proposed to me and I turned him down because of my mom. He convinced me that if I leave, my parents would survive and I trusted him and got married and my parents are still alive. It has been almost 13 years now. You parents will survive. Are you the youngest sibling? If so that is the reason they don't want you to leave. The empty nest syndrome. They have been Mom and Dad for so long they don't know how to be any thing else. I hope all goes well with your decision.

  death of a friends child; funeral obligation

  a friend of mine just lost his young 4 year son in a sleigh accident.

  the child ( the same age as my young caroline) sledded down the front hill of his property into the path of an on coming school bus.

  terrible tragedy.. my wife and i ; who have known them for some time; must attend the service this eveing.

  My thoughts and prayers are with this family. I couldn't begin to understand their loss being I have no children of my own, but my heart aches for this family greatly. So sorry.

  Does anyone watch Reno911! or MXC ?

  so i had never had cable or sat until this fall when i bought dish to watch my red sox, rather than to just listen on the porch with my trusty radio.. well now my son and i are hooked on these weird shows, reno 911!

  and mxc.

  does anyone else watch them or have i sunk to depths that are unspeakable?

  My hubby and I love those shows. We watch them every chance we get. How some of those people on MXC doesn't kill themselves is amazing. I also love crank yankers but hubby doesn't. I know alot of people in the Livingston Parish Sheriffs office in Louisiana and it is just so funny to see reno911 make fun of the job they do.

  my 11th great grandchild was born at 9.13 pm tonight 8lbs 30z by natural childbirth her name will be tavia melanie legg.

  mother & baby is doing well- great granma is totally exhausted.....
