Question for you, DY. What if the Jehovah's Witness is married to a Worldly and the Worldly doesn't like the idea of contributing the equivalent of $5 US per day, and they're already having to stretch their money? Do you think there might be the possibility of a little marital discord?

Here in the UK - a £3 fee charged for going to JW assembly hall
by James_Slash ini cannot speak for other countries, but it has become evident of late that more and more talks are being done by presiding overseers at kh's (especially in the west midlands) and they are making it quite clear that they are expecting 3 from every publisher (per day) who visit the dudley assembly hall, west midlands to contribute towards the upkeep of it.. the quote from the po's who have done this talk have said that "it is expected that each publisher will put 3 into the box on each day".. what do you think of that then?
as the world hits an economic breakdown the jw's seem to maximising their income from struggling families.. dudley assembly hall holds about 600-700 people.
i'm sure people are capable of doing the maths.. so much for voluntary contributions !!

I destroyed @30 jw's today in field service
by JunkYardDog in2 wt zombies came to my door today.
and i opened a can of woop a$$ on them.. i did the whole history of wt false prophecies on them and asked them to show me the gospel of 1914?
they couldn't and i followed them up and down the street proclaiming they were false teachers and couldn't talk their way out of a paper bag with a knowledgeable apostate.

What an interesting group this JWN is. This place is a real community, with history and memories and personal interactions going back years. It took awhile to dawn on me and it was this ridiculous thread that did it.
I am amazed at the people who actually believed JYD's story, people who discussed it as if it may have actually happened. That's the first thing. I'm also amazed at many of the personalities in this community. I believe moshe's story. I think he's a bit of a hardass and doesn't react well to bullshit. I'm amused by NN's challenge to DY. It tells me that NN is either quite young or immature or both, but smart as hell. DY's response was classicly calm and controlled and defiant. Well done. Open mind nailed it - beautiful work - the lights went on instantaneously for many residents, but still some comments indicating that people still actually believed the story was true. Still. BB's post was absolutely credible and well done for an early contribution, don't you think? What the hell is "Danny Haszard Gate?". IbenLyed2's post was still in context, but sab liked it. CRR is calling it a bluff instead of calling it bullshit. BTS, really? Bingo jook. BTS, really? Jam, what're you on? (Outlaw is the class clown, and really good at it.) Then BTS finally gets it. NVL lightens the mood. Then more jokes. Topic change to golf. NN lightens up a whole lot as does moshe. WTW entered the conversation late.

recently, in connecticut, a man was convicted of killing 2 young girls and their mother.
the animal raped them and almost killed the defenseless husband/father who could do nothing while these atrocities were being carried out in his own home!.

help.. urgently a friend has spirits in her house priest removed then can they come to me if she s in my home.
by suzanne.dickenson inplease advise i was brought up as a witness and know the faith of jehovah very well i choose not to follow my dad as a witness as i didnt like the way he taught me the truth hence i know its true.. we are having a party at our house for chikdren ans a mum at the school has been invited she told me shes devestated as she has a ghost and its touching the kids on the landing................. i t freaked me out oviously its saturn the devil or his spirits, i came home said a prayer to jehovah as i do quite often to protect us etc.
if she arrives at my hpome can the spirts come here, please advise as i dont want to put my family inthis situation , she has told me a priest has taken it away... i dont believe it............ my dad is a elder of the congregation hence we dont speak, he always taught me stay well away and youll be ok, so even though its gone from herehouae id love your thoughst so i can maybe cancell her calling, i certainly wouldnt keep any gift from her in my home... many thanks suzanne dickenson.. .

Suzanne, please accept my personal apology on behalf of the unfeeling, lowbrow cretins on this board. Some will make a joke of anything, anything at all. They have no respect for people's feelings, I am sad to say. However, you should not be worried that a demon was touching the children. Probably just an elder, or maybe a circuit overseer.
