  it be nice to see you guys post on jwn now and again - keep this community up to speed with what you are doing maybe?

  all we have seen is the controversies - it would be great to know what else is going on.. as far as i know aawa leadership are not banned from jwn.. or should i not hold my breath?.

  There are quite a few good veteran posters who no longer post post here that had nothing to do with AAWA. Thy went over to the other site started by New Chapter when this site started nit picking and generally becoming a little dictatorship of liberal politics and low tolerance for disagreement. It was better when the owner was involved in other pursuits and left the site alone.

  We reported our sevice to Jehovah God Almighty on a tiny slip of newsprint paper. Same size as the weekly public talk invitations.

  It was transferred onto our publisher card to keep score of our dedication which was reviewed by the CO to determine who was spiritually weak and need sheparding.

  This is typical of a high volume sales organization spreading crap publications which the sales agent and they don't really care if they use it to light there BBQs with. The record keeping is a way of impressing on the "publishers" where they stand with GOD. Don't want to end up as a potato chip when the end comes.

  The dreaded "irregular publisher" label was like saying, you are not going to survice the divine execution. Even if you are disabled, have five children with an unbeliever mate, etc. NO EXTENTUATING CIRCUMSTANCES!

  Quail sammiches

  something that used to bother me back when i cared what was written in the bible (nobody's perfect) was the glaring difference between what jesus is supposed to have said in luke 11 -- which of you if your son asks for a fish will give him a serpent, or an egg give him a scorpion.... and numbers 11 where israel cries out for meat (ungratefully or not) and jehovah sends them meat... and promptly kills them before the first munch is munched, for trying to eat what he provided when asked to.. .

  to me the sneakiest machination of god here (satan learned from the master i guess) is that the only other time he sent them quail was the night before he sent them manna for the first time... give the people a taste for lovely roast quail sammiches on skybread panini, wait until they run out of sammich filler and then pow!!.

  I have taken quail as game. It is very tedious to dress. If you breach the delicate intestine and the stuff gets out, you might as well throw it away. A quail has about as much meat on it as one chicken leg.

  Another example of Biblical exaggeration. Don't think they were knee deep in quail for a days walk in any direction.

  Think of the OT as the original Harry Potter fiction.

  I completely agree. It is as plain as day.

  Years ago we were quoted the mandate that "this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth, and then the end will come..."

  This was to justify the huge publishing empire, the hundreds of Kingdom Halls, the gigantic conventions, etc. Growth, growth growth!

  We were also taught that the day would come that, like Noah, the ark would be closed up and no more taken aboard to avoid Jehovahs wrath.

  Seems rather inconsistent here in 2013 that they need such a huge plant complex to turn out their pitiful little comic book pamphlets.

  You are correct. It's about building material wealth. That is all it has ever been about.

  Yeah, I would hope the USA is ripe enough to fall from the tree. We are not going away but it would be interesting to see the country tend to it's own fucking business and get off the slippery slope to socialism and pretending to world leadership.

  Seems like the more we see of the pratfall of the Europeans the more we want to emulate them. Pull up the drawbridge!

  My granny died.

  last week friday i was delayed in going to work, for which i am glad.

  it was an opportunity for me to help my gran one last time.

  she thanked me, told me she loved me and that i would be very blessed.
