As I recall, pious pio's received a liturature cost discount. This, of course, went right to their bottom line and they received a 1099 from Brooklyn based on very tedious bookkeeping. They also received an "Escape Armageddon Free" coupon during the pioneering period as long as all requirements were met.

Why do witnesses need the title of pioneer to get 30 hours?
by BU2B inif witnesses believe that we truly are in the end of the end of the last days, and they believe the work they do will really save lives, and most can just make a few adjustments and get 30 hours, why dont they do this more often??
without the title?.
to me if you really care about people you would not wait until you have a special title or badge to wear of look at me im pioneering, you would do the most you can every month and not care about recognition from men.

Purging.....It feels soo good.
by dazed but not confused inif you try to read that crap.. you'll ... purge the baloney sandwich you ate for lunch..lol.

My initial purge was in 1981 when I had a sort of ceremonial sacrifice of 5 years worth of judicial committee notes. My Weber BBQ was the altar.
A couple of years later I spent a couple of hours setting on the carpet in front of my fireplace tossing my personal "library" into the flames. Mid winter and I almost got a sunburn from the heat.

Try the 1 day olive oil and lemon juice purge. Be prepared, you will see things that you ate 5 years ago.

I left the protection of Jay Edgar Hova's organization even though Armageddon was due any moment.
That was 30 years ago. Whew, dodged that bullet!

My wife just told me to move out...
by nolongerconfused inbecause of "religious" differences, she now wants me to move out and "separate"...i said what biblical grounds does she have for her request?.
she couldnt respond...she said she'd rather be beaten up by me than have an "apostate" in the house.... this org definitely encourages conditional love.... i don't know what to do...by the way, we dont have children.

Tell her you have decided to accept "the truth" then slap the taste out of her mouth...
Seriously, you have gotten good advice here. Keep a cool head and don't move out. Do you have a separate sleeping place? Offer it to her. You sleep in your own bed.

by Tylinbrando inso i have been a lurker on this forum since its inception.
i registered over a year ago.
i jumped in several months back with a highly controversial subject of my daughter being sexually abused by an elder and the efforts we were taking to bring him to justice.

I was in Wyoming in December, 1964. Out of boredom, I thought I would climb up nearby Sundance mountain. It was not difficult to hike up near the summit what with the snow making footing easy. Then I decided to traverse a 200 yard wide snow field that was on about a 45 degree angle. Halfway across I realized I was on a giant tilted shelf above a 200 foot sheer cliff. I was afraid to move for fear the shelf would simply slide off. i turned around and crept back in my own tracks, scared to death I would be swept away at any moment. ( snowfield was on the edge of the escarpment seen in the summer pic.)
