They are 98 lb. weaklings that must hide behind every fear tactic they have to avoid being beat up. The longer they go on the harder it is to maintain control and it is the former JW's who are now the "apostates" that threaten them most. Too much new wine put into old wineskins, somethings got to give, and it has.

The Governing Bodys irrational fear of the Apostate Boogeyman
by Londo111 inhttp://freeminds2.org/the-theocratic-life-and-times-of-theodore-jaracz/.
i was reading the above article by barbara anderson and was struck that, rather than knowing better, the governing body actually believes in this shadowy organization of former members who are out to attack them.
[jaracz] said that the governing body had been preparing for much longer than anybody could guess for an attack by apostates.

Here in Oregon we have a small town nearby called Boring. They have hooked up in a sister city relationship with the village of Dull, Scotland.
The Governor has declared today, August 9th, Boring-Dull Friday. True story on the cover of the WSJ today.
Today, August 9, marks the first annual Boring & Dull Day, a new state holiday organized by the Oregon town of Boring and the Scottish village of Dull. The duo — dubbed a “Pair for the Ages” in a law signed earlier this year by Oregon Gov. John Kitzhaber — are banking on their unusual names and media attention to draw tourists and help boost the local economies, the Oregonian reports.
In an attempt to live up to its motto of being “the most exciting place to live,” Boring — southeast of Portland with a population of 12,851 — is celebrating the day with an ice cream social, a performance by a local barbershop quartet, a flag salute featuring the Oregon National Guard, and even a bagpiper and drummer to honor the residents of Dull, which had a population of 84 in October 2012. A sign in Dull commemorates the “twinning” of the two towns, “Welcome to Dull, Paired with Boring, Oregon, USA: Drive Safely.”

Scary Stuff
by Farkel intoday's high school students in the usa:.
less than 1/2 of them cannot identify the century when our civil war happened.. one in four thought columbus discovered america sometime after 1750.. one in three cannot name one right enumerated in the bill of rights.. three out of four cannot name the first us president.. two out of three do not know the length of term of a member of the house of representatives.. half cannot find britain on a map.. one out of four cannot find america on a map.. when my oldest daughter, who is now a physician was in 9th grade in this once-great state of california, i asked her about the three branches of our federal government.
she was clueless and told me she would take civics in her junior year in high school.

It's a complex issue, and won't be readily resolved with all the partisan rhetoric and snark.
Oh, the irony!

Hygiene safety - If when using the toilet you are unable to accomplish normal cleaning with two squares of toilet paper attendants are available to show you proper technique.
Always wash your fingers after using the faciltiies. The single paper towel is adequate for drying. Soap is not always necessary, use sparingly.
Be careful not to stumble your brothers.

In the US, o ur President, who once thought we had 57 states, also refers to the Atlantic coast cities of Charleston, SC, Savannah, GA, and Jacksonville, FL as Gulf ports. They are nowhere near the Gulf of Mexico. He has repeated this more than once. Slow learner.

As far as his failures, they are public knowledge. Read a news paper once in awhile.

Signs is one of favorite movies. But you are right, the religous symbolism was there.
