CERN claims faster-than-light particle measured
by botchtowersociety inhuh?.
cern claims faster-than-light particle measuredgeneva (ap) -- a fundamental pillar of physics - that nothing can go faster than the speed of light - appears to be smashed by an oddball subatomic particle that has apparently made a giant end run around albert einstein's theories.. scientists at the world's largest physics lab said thursday they have clocked neutrinos traveling faster than light.
that's something that according to einstein's 1905 special theory of relativity - the famous e (equals) mc2 equation - just doesn't happen.. "the feeling that most people have is this can't be right, this can't be real," said james gillies, a spokesman for the european organization for nuclear research, or cern, outside the swiss city of geneva.. gillies told the associated press that the readings have so astounded researchers that they are asking others to independently verify the measurements before claiming an actual discovery.. "they are inviting the broader physics community to look at what they've done and really scrutinize it in great detail, and ideally for someone elsewhere in the world to repeat the measurements," he said thursday.. scientists at the competing fermilab in chicago have promised to start such work immediately.. "it's a shock," said fermilab head theoretician stephen parke, who was not part of the research in geneva.

This, theoretically, implies that it really is possible to go back in time, maybe just for a blink, not enough time to pick lotto numbers.

at least his yacht did. A beauty. Ringo was confirmed to be in Astoria on the coast for the City bicentennial. His yacht came through the Columbia River "chute" of Cascade Locks this PM . We have a neighbor who monitors the radio traffic at the Bonneville Dam Lock, 3 miles downriver and told us he was on his way. A beautiful yacht towing a very sexy runabout. If he was aboard he had a perfect weather cruise up the Gorge today.
Last day of summer, 2011. Tomorrow is Fall and we can see it's approach already. Everyone predicts a severe winter. We are ready!

Since The Prophetic Failure Of 1975..
by metatron inaccording to smart money magazine, the average life expectancy in 1975 was 72.6 years (us).
in 2011, it is 78.2 (oct issue, page 58 - unlike the deceptive awake, i give proper references).
pretty good for a 'dying system", huh?.

36 years ago we were all heading for our bunks in the bunker! Bunk is still the Watchtower's operative word.

Do you ever suffer from this in your sleep or is it just me?
by highdose inlast night at 2am i was awoken by the sound of cuboards in the room next to mine being opened and iteams falling out of them.
it terrifiled me, i lay awake listening further for hours in case the burgalars tried anything else.... when the morning came i went into that room, to find it all as it should be... nothing disturbed at all... no break in at all.. this has happened several times to me over the past few years.
no its not the neighbours i live in a deatched house.

Try one of those "white noise" gadgets, different sounds can be selected, ocean surf, wind rain, forest bird chirping, etc.
I occasionally hear quite distinct sounds when on the edge of sleep. When I investigate I realize the sound was 'all in my head'.

Moulding our JW Children
by angel.face inevery year, at the beginning of the school year i prepare a letter for my daughter's teachers saying 'we are jws don't celebrate this....no anthem....here are some suggestions..blah blah".
and here's our 'jws and education' brochure from 1969, a bit outdated but you know, it's spiritual food at the proper time.
besides, its an easy placement.

We saw the critically praised "Drive" directed by Nicolas Rehn. I noted a lot of elements that reminded me of a couple of directors. (This is not a spoiler if you have not seen it.)
Peter Yates - (one scene in particular was like an homage to the Bullitt chase.)
Sam Peckinpah & Quentin Tarantino - graphic violence.
Ryan Gosling was channeling Steve McQueen. Good actor.
Albert Brooks as you've never seen him before.
I give it 4 stars out of 5.

So you are just going to do baked donuts? No fryer?
Natural gas for cooking? A 200 amp panel @208 3ph is not much. Have you calc. all your equipment draw, refrigeration, mixer etc.?
Sorry to be nosey. Just interested. PM me if you have any questions. I designed and built every kind of kitchen you can imagine for 30 yrs.
