Any ex-JW's going to a different church? If so, which one?
by 1Robinella insince i've been out of the jw religion, i've had no desire to attend any churches.
although i've always liked the way many churches look with the (stained glass, etc).
growing up our kh was so ugly and boring to look at.

i went to catholic church as a teenager
and they used to have this friday night special
with loads of singing and then the preast would start asking if there was any one ill and wed pray for em
then hed start thiking he was a mind reader and hed start saying some one heres got a kidney prob stand up and then some one would and hed go up em and lay his hands on em and theyd fall back when i firts started going i thought what aload of bull.......and then every one would form an orderly line,and start walking to the front
wile every one was singing ava maria and hail mary full of grace stuff
then therd be people at the front of alter with big pillows and everyone would kneel down on steps lke 10 at a time and close there eyes singing over and over again the same,
then the preist would walk along the front of em touching there forhead and they be falling allover the place (scareystuff i thought)
well when i was a teen i just thought my goodness what a load of u know what and i said to myself im gona go up there and il stary were i am not fake a holy spirit moment and colaps on the pillow behind me and the preist will look stupid as he keep trying and i wont play the game,
well i got to the fron kneeld down then next thing i know i keep wobbling this is befor hes even got to me,
then he touched my head so very lightly not even realy touching it and i was on the pillow,
then i thought omg a demons just gone through me or sumat,but not cos i new cos i dint it was weird i dont know why i thought that when every one else was thinking it was the holey spirit but i did i was only young and wasnt being brain washed at the time by jws so dint get the demon thing from them it just went through my head and it scared me.
i dint even think catholics did that kind of thing.

,il prob faint straight after thoe but il do it, u lot are so harsh, im totaly nothing near to being a strong outspoken person as some of u are. im goin to still write a letter and going to send it to the bro in question a nice polite one still but firm.

you no what i dont know why i even tryed to get a bit of help from u lot
im in a predicament were im being harrased and iv told em politly in many ways to go away and yer i do give in some times
but only cos im not a big mouthed hot headed jw hater,im some little person whos shy and quiet and just wants to not go any more with out all the hassles.
were not all up front as u u know,i wanted some help with wording in a letter that would may be send em off with out having to make myself look like a nasty hatefull person which im not.
plus the elder that keeps coming is infact probably the only one ever to ever help me or be my freind the hole time iv gone to that place so im not going to stand at door cos hes job is to get me back and be hatefull and nasty to him,
even if he is being persistent, and i admit i dont like it,but im not going to be horrid so either help me with some sensible way of doing it or dont bother at all.

i feel like hes never gona listen no mater what i say even if i just point to road hel prob carry on and if i shut door hel prob knock i duno thats how its starting to feel to me like hel be just walking on in next,im hoping thats if i do managed to get rid of him that i dont end up with a rush of diff sis and bros or other elders trying it on also im gona have to send a letter.. but i dint want to have to and diss myself, i just dint wana have to do that,theyl prob blame my demon internet husband for it, saying to each other we new hed be bad news for her.. itss me not him whos desided to leave i had no encoragement form him,he wants to leave cos i opend his eyes.

u know i am wishy washy,but iv still told em dozens of times in all diff ways and then give in cos they wont give up .
also a bout a month ago they wouldnt take no for annswer so i thought il tell em a time then not b e in when they come u know what they flaming came about an hour and half earlyer, befor i even had chance to get my coat and rush off bet u thyed have sat out side till i got back and then came door saying sorry we late or sumat.

what gets me is how come when i was going they didnt wana no me cos id met my dh on web site, and they dint notice i was missing for several months then its now constant bug and we all love u and miss u and come back wel help u alls forgoten and we care and dont matter u had blood u ok now its past,
i no 4 a fact if i go back itl be same in a few weeks back to same old story i dont want it anymore,
im just gona have to send a letter saying i dont wana assosiate wi them any more even thoe i dont want to say that cos why should i, just to stop em coming,
