  Top 10 reasons why JWs don't have the truth - please contribute

  i thought it would be an interesting exercise to ask everybody on here what their 'top 10 reasons why jws don't have the truth' actually were.

  maybe we can see some correlating views/patterns/ideas that may help us de-programme the newbies that come on this site.

  if eventually most people have an outstanding gripe/concern it'll help everybody understand the ex-jw mindset a little better.

  i congratulate you on a most invaluable discovery...

  you too have joined the minions of enlightened individuals who have embraced the facts layed before you...

  you will not let yourself be enduced to a coma-like life of meetings, preaching, false prophecies, pedophiles...

  now...listen carefully (and let no one tell u otherwise)

  it is human nature to want to hold hands with a buddy before leaping across into the real freedom you seek.

  the j.w. is but one entity...you must percieve the whole and clear picture now.

  remember the pesky words of advice...'what consortium does darkness have with light?'

  you my friend have seen an inkling of that light...do not stop now...

  you're asking the wrong questions...how typical of the 'liberated', such narrow focus...you only see one side of the box.

  when the box has 6 sides...to you it all begins and ends with those two little letters...j.w., so you will never trully be liberated.

  as long as you use your little crutch, you will always limp....

  i could see the indecision almost instantly from reading all these 'interesting' topics.

  for the record, as i stated in my introduction, we are a band!

  but we like to feel the coziness of each other...

  you've been around this block for some time...what would it take YOU to disengage? you dont intend to grow old and d.i.e. while posting with your buddies @jw.net , now?

  a true moment of clarity is not something you live once.

  son- fine! one day im going to grow up leave this torture hole and im going to buy my ps3 and u wont be able to tell me no!!!!

  how could certain people be appointed elders?

  they were just kiss-asses or yes men.

  'strongly encouraged' , i'd say 'held at gun-point or else' sounds more like it, no?...

  mary, convince yourself once and for all, dont be afraid to let go, my arms are warm and fuzzy...not hard and opressive...

  ur buddies around here have 'convinced' you of something else too, did u know that?

  that this is a '12-step process' to liberation. no such thing mary,,,just shut the door and dont go back, embrace the total freedom of not having to answer to anyone but yourself.

  you havent heard or seen anything yet...wait til your eyes are FULLY open, then the entire truth will be revealed. the faithfull discreet slave, 1914, the 144000, the preaching, the false hope, and even armageddon, ...you dont know how happy we are that you've given us an opportunity

  to remove the veil from your eyes. we cherish the honor...

  so begins the ecstacy-inducing journey from SLAVERY to bright and glorious freedom!!!
