I have already commented once on this post......but reading the WT info makes me sick! It is bad enough that I am supposed to weigh MY OWN conscience.....but then I have to weigh EVERYONE else's so as not to offend? UUGGHH

I went today for the first time in well over 6 months. I got up to clear my heard around paragraph 12 and came back after 15. I had a hard time with the WHOLE meeting. Did not really follow along with the study either. It is ALL hard for me to swallow right now. Someone commented that "we" were the only organization to use Jehovah's name. I wanted to go up to them after and tell them to Google it and they would find that "we" are NOT the only organization that uses it.
It was a bittersweet meeting for me. I had many good friends there who smiled at me, even a couple who said hello......family who mouthed "I Love You" from across the room. It made it SO much harder for me to be there. I know that they mean well......but when they are nice to me it makes me want to cry. which I did and had to walk out of the main room before the first prayer was even said.
FUNNY NOTE......There was a brother and his wife there whom last I knew were not attending meetings. Of course that was a year ago, maybe more. So, I see him stand up and he has a mic in his hand during the watchtower study. I looked at my hubby and whispered "Holy Shit he's got mic duty". Both my hubby and I bust a gut as I realized I just said SHIT during meeting. LMAO

AN UPDATE: My hubby LOVED our Yoga class last night!!!!! I am SO excited!! Looks like it will be a weekly thing for us!
Funny thing I had asked my friend who attended last sunday with me if she wanted to meet us up there. She was already there for another class so she stayed for the Yoga. Her hubby and mine are good friends as well. Her hubby called my hubby to see if he wanted to go out for drinks after work. My hubby told him that he was going to Yoga and invited him to with him. His friend showed up and surprised his wife!! She said it was a first for him. He LOVED it as well and is looking forward to NEXT friday!!
GREAT night all in all!! Thanks again for the needed support yesterday. I was glad to have a place to come vent. Things turned out WAY better than I could have even asked for. YAY!!

Thanks for letting me know! I am even more excited reading your posts! Right now we have snow all over and it is a bit too cold to run outside. SO, I am stuck in the gym on the treadmill as there is no running track at the gym.
There is a 5k? (not sure if that is the right term) in March that my hubby and I were thinking about running to give us an idea of what we are up against.
The 1/2 marathon that we are running in has a HUGE participation....10,000. They had such a GREAT turnout last time at 8,000 they added 2,000 more! Sounds almost TOO big for my likings.....I am not a big crowd person.

I agree with the conscience matter. The last funeral that I attended was in a Luthern Church and I picked up the hymn book and bible and followed along! The funeral was for my BIL's dad. My SIL brought her NWT bible with her.......she is a full time pioneer. Made me want to vomit when I saw her bring it in to the church. It looked to me like she was trying to protect herself or something.......or maybe it was so someone would ask her about it and she could "witness" in the church. Who knows.
I have been to both weddings and funerals in church's. I see nothing wrong with it. But I do have an aunt who would not attend her brother's (my uncle) funeral because his son who is a pastor gave the eulogy. She showed up after and drove out to the cemetary with us. I feel that she missed out on a very moving eulogy as his son poured his heart out for all to see the love that he had for his dad and how amazing his dad was. Her loss.

skeeter1......not sure about Zumba.....will have to check. Will also have to check into the I wish I could print out your comment and show it to my friend! I do strength training 3 days a week along with cardio/elliptical on the days that I don't strength train. So adding Yoga should about complete my exercise regime. Starting next week I will be training for a 1/2 marathon for the next 12 weeks.
poppers......TOO FUNNY!! LMAO LOVE IT!!
Thanks again for the comments and for the giggles! It was MUCH needed!!

My hubby and I have registered for our FIRST 1/2 marathon. Now, I have NEVER been a runner, which is kind of scary. BUT I have been going to a personal trainer 3 days a week for the past 11 weeks, in addition to doing 60 min. of cardio on the elliptical the other 3 days of the week with taking Sunday's off. I have lost 20 lbs so far, with 10-15 to go before I reach MY goal. My trainer is confident that I can run the entire 13.1 miles, with the proper conditioning. I will be following a 12 week schedule that will put me right at the date of the run.
Just curious if anyone here is a runner and if you have run in a marathon, 1/2 or the whole thing..........
