there was quite a debate on another post about the increase/decrease throughout the wt history surrounding 1975 and subsequent time periods when ther have been major adjustments in doctrine.

it was said that the stasticis from 1965-1985 do not reflect a massive defection, despite the failure of the wt's prophecy for the end of the wicked system of things by 1975. .

i see the overlapping generation as another potention issue to cause fallout.

A Woman, A Woman - Oh What Can She Be?

hi, peeplezs,.

down over the years i have experienced plenty of discouragement and cynicism about faith and the existence of a god who cares for us.

if i allowed myself to dwell on those things alone, i suppose that i too would be feeling hopeless and cynical and would be just waiting until my time is up.. however, i don't feel that way at all.

As I have now learned the definition of the word "Pedophile" I retract that acusation. Then again, maby she was a late bloomer.

I still object, however, to the misogynistic idea that if you did not take this "little freckle-faced girl" and make her into a woman ("your woman") that she would instantly turn to drugs or prostitution. I also object to the misogynistic idea that a 20 year old man should determine the 15 year old's role of wife and mother. I object to the misogynistic idea perpetuated by the Jehovah's Witnesses that the only role any woman could posibly fill is that of wife and mother. Didn't some one just get arrested for marrying minors, some as young as 12 and getting them pregnant?

Are you one of thouse that feel that "old enough to bleed is old enough to breed"?

Mom: "Oh, look, little Suzzi just had her first period!"

Dad: "Great set the wedding date, my frind Bob has been lickin his chops, and he is filthy rich!!!!"

I have no problem with an adult that chooses that role, but a 15 year old is not an adult. By definition a 15 year old has not reached the age of consent. Did you ask her parents? and even if you did, is that really her choice?

I love nature. it's too bad that I can't get past this societal problem that makes me feel like it's not ok to have sex with minors when your in your early 20's. I'm sure that since a knot head like me says that a girl should wait to get married that your going to do your personal best to marry off your grandaughter as soon as the first pubic hair sprouts.

My career as a budding alcoholic is over

i've had a goal to drink my first alcohol this year and i decided that i would take the plunge while in my hotel.

i chose a tiny bottle of jacob's creek and retired to my room.. i had two sips and had to stop.

seriously vile.

Personally, I like Wheet Ale like Blue Moon, or Shock Top. There are a lot of diffrent wines, and they taste diffrent depending on age. If you want to drink somthing that dosn't nessasarily taste like alcohol, try Mike's Hard Lemonade. If you want to try some shots, try my personal favorite Kalua and Cream, you can also try Drambui, or After Shock, or if you are serious about getting drunk fast and can take shots you may try Bicardi 151 but watch out that stuff literally will catch fire.
