story so far.... middle aged lady is in park walking her dog and discovers a baby covered in the autumn leaves under a tree...the baby is alive and well..... what next?.

Hi Loz! Wow you have no idea how much this story impacts me. With out giving away too much personal info. I am not able to have bio children and my dream for many many many years (or nightmare) is that I some how find a baby. It changes over the years one time a trash bag a dumspster by the river in a park you get the idea. I allways KNOW that the baby was thrown a way / discarded. I allways take the baby and try to hide it as mine, but I know that I should turn it in...sometimes the baby needs a Dr and I am so torn because I know that they will take it and give to SS. And I will go to jail. Or if the baby is healthy I know that I should have called the police and given them the baby. I spend most of the dream running and hiding. This dream has been a constant for about 15 years. It is very emotional to have it, and it takes me a while to shake it after I wake up.

I told my daughter I was leaving "the truth" this weekend.

last week, i told you i was going to tell my daughter that i was leaving the truth this weekend and you all gave me sound advice.

but, i cannot keep a secret this heavy from the person i love most on this earth, my only daughter, who is beautiful inside and out.. well, i have always had an open and honest relationship with my daughter, and i guess it paid off.

this weekend i visited my daughter (who lives in another state) and i told her i was leaving "the truth.

my school was a couple weeks back, and it was interesting to a degree.

to be honest with you, it reminded me of a police crime scene investigation with yellow tape.

what i mean is, in one respect it was business as usual.

i always thought they were the most boring things i'd ever seen.

a picture of someone preaching in a different land every month.. i always ended up hanging something far more entertaining, like an nfl calendar..

LOL @ YNOT!!! Teee heee It always bothered me that to be a good JW you NEED a large personal calander/day planner to record all of the RV's Hours Placements Studies Service CO Visits SAD's DA's ect ect ect. However the "calander" that is not "FREE" has no room to schedule a dentist apt on it. And so you donate for the rag...and then you have to buy an aftermarket unspiritual day planner to fill. LOL this year I have a beautiful day planner from Christain Art Publishers very nice and very upliftling!

Why I Like the "Proclaimers" Book

while it is true that the "proclaimers" book is not always as open and honest about the society's history as it claims to be, it is open and honest enough to bring into question the society claim to being god's organization.

it's a matter of (1) knowing what to look for, (2) where to find it and then, (3) to be able get the sense of what it means.. take for example the extremely important matter of the second coming of christ.... on the top of page 47 the book truthfully explains how president charles russell came to believe that jesus returned invisibly in 1874 to begin his second coming ("invisible presence").

and then a careful reading of the footnote on page 133 shows that the date of jesus' return was not changed to 1914 until 1943.. it is likely that even if some witnesses notice that fact, they do not get the sense of what it means.

it's an unbiblical roman catholic teaching by which "you are looked upon with the blackest contempt... being cursed and damned with the devil and his angels.".

hi all i have been on a long vacation over the holidays... and every time someone whished me either "merry christmas" or "happy new year" i found couldnt help myself to reply "you too".

i had to laugh at how many times i have wished someone a happ "you too".

so to all my jwners...... "happy you too".
