The congregation was kind, today.
by Quarterback ini believe it was in paragraph 9, in the wt study.
it mentioned something like "developing a romantic relationship with an unbeliever".. our congregation has had so many bad relationships with couples in the faith.
so, that has inspired others to go outside of the org to find romance.

A brother in my hall said we should thank the single sisters who remain faithful to Jehovah and are holding out to Marry someone in the Lord.

NEW RUMOR: WT ALLOWS BIRTHDAYS
by J.R.R.Watchtower ini've just read at a spanish forum for ex-jw that the wt has cooked a new light article series about social celebrations, including birthdays and aniversaries.
according to a member of this forum 'in short' the wt will let witnesses to decide by 'their bible trained conscience' either they celebrate birthdays or not.
is this rumor based in some real facts or it's just bullshit?.

There is coverage in the current Pioneer schools and book that a christian can observe a birthday privately sans the pagan traditions of blowing out candles on a cake or singing. But if they were to promote it they could be disfellowshipped for causing divisions or sects.. If someone has the pioneer school book that would be great.

RIP Michael Jackson

and two years since the death of michael jackson.. we all know of his family life and the connection the family had to the jehovah's witness religion, his abusive father, and the less than ideal childhood he experienced.
his struggles with his identity and his past manifested itself in a life of extreme highs and lows.

Wow. What a great piece of Jounarlism. I wonder if this has had any impact on policy since this was 10yrs ago. I believe they go to the police now where it is law they do. Otherwise they leave it up to the victim. But too many people had to suffer for this to happen. So sad.

How many illogical JW beliefs did you choke down for years?

and it was very popular with the jws.. i did not believe a word of it - even at the time.
did not believe in the "demons" either - with or without the slime.. it got me to thinking - how much of this did a small back room of your mind reject?
