  i was very sheltered as a jw.

  bu since i left 5 yrs ago i have as a person both in school and in life.

  i have noticed that i am more self confident with myself and i am more objective about things.

  regarding worldly people, shows or toys?

  etc...what quotes annoyed you the most?.

  for me it was "well, you have to remember, they're worldly"... "don't trust anyone who isn't in the truth" "they may be nice but they are not friends of jehovah"... just a few to name.

  gets stranger with time

  i am noticing that as time goes times on, the jw's become more stranger.

  they seem a whole more distant at least to me.. what do you think..

  This is true the Jw's do seem stuck in a time warp. They do not seem to want to adapt with the times. It is 2013 not 1950's.

  Yes I am also noticing a desperation in these Jw's that I have not really seen. I see some Jw's and they have this expression of fake happiness. They seem to acting out of a sad desperation for their new syestem.Which is never coming. I see this desperation in a lot of old Jw's especially those in their 50's and 60's and 70's.

  Sometimes the witness's will bring literature and I will see how strange the magazines are. I feel like since leaving 5 yrs ago. They seem so out of touch with reality it is sad to see.
