by undercover ini've seen a few threads/posts where some of y'all have heard from jw contacts and how they've stepped up their 'the end is close' rhetoric because of the earthquake/tsunami in japan.
i usually take those things with a grain of salt.
there's always some jw whose cheese has slipped that reads prophecy into every little thing that happens.

I look back at some of the old videos and literature and yes it does seem strange in so many ways.I think also the way they deliver their message is dated.Going door to door is dated with the internet now.

What books, songs, artists, movies, etc were banned in your JW home?
by serenitynow! inmy mother was very strict about entertainment.
in school i was doing a project about teen suicide and had checked out some books on suicide and abortion.
i had alot of explaining to do for that.
