I hit enter before I was finished. The Question was Is there a such thing as Apostolic Christianity or is it lumped together with Pauline Christianity?

Paul, leading authority on Christianity, does NOT quote Jesus!
by Terry inpaul's letters practically invent christianity.. the gospels trickled in after him.. paul never walked with jesus and yet explains him.. never a quote from the master at all.. yet, paul is such a maven.. if jesus couldn't be bothered to actually reveal what he was all about to his apostles with whom he ate, drank, spoke and slept---why this persecutor, saul?.
the apostles heard every word jesus spoke and were willing to die for him.. paul didn't--yet--miraculously explained every detail of the entire history of god's purpose including his messiah.. .
can anybody provide a non-gimmick answer?.

There will be those who consider this author to be a quack but, he made some good points in this book about Paul:
The Mythmaker: Paul and the Invention of Christianity by Hyam Maccoby.
Yes I have read the 'Jesus Words only' I brought the book a couple of years ago, I think the author is a Spanish lawyer.
I wish he had video footage, of his thoughts,...... perhaps an interview.

I have always consider the WTBTS the lesser Paul. The minute one can question Paul and his affiliation with 'Christ', in that very moment you can began to question the 'Organizations' affiliation with Christ.

Paul the Opportunist over came his epilepsy, to become the greatest christian. He learned to BS the Jewish community, and the gentiles were babes to him so they were easy to delude.

Is the salutation ... "Are you in The Truth?" ... still in use?
by Lion Cask inthe title is the question.
when i was actively studying with the witnesses back in the mid 70's i was often asked that question.
i guess it was a reflection of the crowd i was hanging around with and the fact that i was a friendly at the time, but on reflection i haven't been asked the question for eons.

It seems that those who think they are the most spiritual are really good at copping their own fields.
And using the term 'truth' as a description of their belief, comes with the territory.

Who cares about Jesus?
by brotherdan inone thing that initially disturbed me when i was questioning the organization was their lack of focus on jesus.
whether you believe in him or not, you have to admit that jws focus mainly on jehovah and his organization.
to the apostles their entire message was about jesus.

It's their party and they can talk about jesus how they want to. Keep in mind that they are the only ones to communciate with "god and jesus" directly.
Stay in a childs(john class) place!

inactive=lowers the monthly average
irregular=similar to getting disability at work(meaning that they don't count your non-activity as part of their average)
I think,...
