I hate to sound like a Jesus nut, but for what reason was he turning over the tables in the temple? and what state to you think he was in?

Paul, leading authority on Christianity, does NOT quote Jesus!
by Terry inpaul's letters practically invent christianity.. the gospels trickled in after him.. paul never walked with jesus and yet explains him.. never a quote from the master at all.. yet, paul is such a maven.. if jesus couldn't be bothered to actually reveal what he was all about to his apostles with whom he ate, drank, spoke and slept---why this persecutor, saul?.
the apostles heard every word jesus spoke and were willing to die for him.. paul didn't--yet--miraculously explained every detail of the entire history of god's purpose including his messiah.. .
can anybody provide a non-gimmick answer?.

Paul boasted about how special he was because Christ spoke to him directly in spirit, and how he was favored even more so than the Apostles.
WTBTS say Christ has favored them out of all the religions on earth, and communicates with them in spirit, though they say you have to go through them, WTBTS is aware that god is judge.
With all respect I don't see much difference
thanks for responding, Shelby and Tec

I really liked what Shelby said about Paul, and I hope people consider the insight implied by them. He never claimed to be perfect, there is no reason to think he would not have made mistakes, and I do get the feeling sometimes he was at his wit's end trying to understand how he could reach people. I don't think he was a hypocrite either.

Have you given the same BOD to the WTBTS?

Are Tie Neck Blouses stylish, or is there too much going on?
by miseryloveselders inthere's a woman in a different department next to my department.
she's a very attractive woman, but at times she wears things that leave me perplexed.
for instance, she had this blouse on with baggy swashbuckler sleaves.

Since Jesus Christ, the head of the congregation, is alive, does he need successors?
by brotherdan ini was looking up something for a different post in the reasoning book, and came across this question.
doesn't this put a pretty major problem in their faithful and discreet slave class argument?
heb.

This 'Church' consisted of his anointed followers who communicated with him directly(FDS). It wasn't written for you.
According, to the WTBTS.

God and the Meaning of Life: Where I Now Stand
by neverendingjourney infifteen years ago, jehovah god was as real as the ground below me.
as it turns out, my belief was founded on lies, half-truths, and a burning desire on my part to possess a theory of everything, something that tied up all the loose ends and make sense of the world.. i stopped going to meetings nearly six years ago, and ive mostly given up the search for the ever-elusive theory of everything.
im not really a science guy, but ive read a few books on atheism and biology in the past few years.

Could we approach life as neither a personal or impersonal silhouette?

If one is a follower of Christ and not a Jew, in addition to the Teachings of Jesus become a noahide, and leave Paul out of the equation.

I guess my question then would be what would Christianity be today without Paul?
