  well, i walked in and got the love-bombing before i even made it past the foyer.

  everyone's missed me, everyone's thrilled that i came, blah, blah, blah.

  to be fair though, there were a few there that i do miss so it was nice to see them.

  i've just posted the following in another thread whose subject is supernatural experience, but it may deserve its own thread so i'll repost it here.

  i don't believe in the supernatural but i do believe that people experience unexplained things.

  where i differ from some people is that i perceive the unexplained things exist only in their brains and not in the physical world around them.. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------.

  My Study Conductor Jumped Ship - Any Possible Explanations?

  my study conductor has informed me that he & his wife are switching to a foreign language congregation that is far away from the territory they live in (it will involve a lot of driving back & forth).

  because he is switching congregations, he said he will not have the energy to devote to my study and recommended another brother who could take over, and i have met him.

  however, this change happened simultaneously with a decision i have made.

  i don't believe that there is such a thing as a perfect, or an ideal situation.

  ideal is the more appropriate word to use, because the word itself denotes a conception, a remote possibility, not a reality.

  i'm asking you, in your lifetime, have you ever found complete fulfillment, or felt complete within yourself, and your accomplishments?

  My present way of explaining it is that we don't know everything; in fact I don't think we know much. We have opinions or belief systems about what we are (physical and/or spiritual) that may or may not be right. Often "spiritual" or "supernatural" are just words to flag that we don't know.

  I'm OK with not knowing; that way new viewpoints and discoveries don't faze me.

  for the first time in close to 15 years, i have not been compelled by our lord to issue an "invitation" on this board regarding the upcoming wtbts "memorial" event.

  for many years, i have posted exhortations and reminders as to what our lord said about those "in union" with him and what it takes to be in such union.

  All Christians should partake, no matter what hope you have.

  I go to the congregation where I began partaking years ago, which is about 110 miles away.

  If you are not well can you listen over the phone and break bread/wine at home

  The alternative would be to go with my husband/his family to their KH. It may be that they (the family) partake there this year. They do at my house).

  So this is a family affair? wow,.....interesting
