i thought this was very interesting.
i am trying to find out about the infant mentioned in the article that was ordered to have a blood transfusion.. also on the conscientious objectors i found a site that has interviews with jw's and got this is the message.. these records are restricted until the year 2020. researchers using the contents of this collection in any public format must disguise the identity of any individual conscienious objector.
researchers wishing to use the collection must sign a form agreeing to this stipulation.. they were treated pretty badly from what this article says, tarred a feathered!.
I am currently compiling a History of the Watchtower Society in Florida. Vol. 1 will center on
the Bible Students era. Vol. 2 on Jehovah's Witnesses. For the earliest info, I went to
Zion's Watch Tower and found quite a bit there. As early as 1883 a Baptist minister from Sterling, Florida wrote
ZWT that a friend had given him 2 copies of the journal. He was so impressed that he
was writing for "Food for Thinking Christians." I searched Arkansas and found letters in ZWT from readers in Arkansas in 1887.
Here's the link. Click Watch Tower and then Search for Arkansas. If you need WT literature after 1916, there is another
link I can direct you to.
i don't know if this has been posted before or not, but it is well worth a repeat.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ese-aysf9mw.

No, that link doesn't seem to work. Probably is expired and in archives.

he was 51. we had not been close in the past few years.. he suffered from a rare ailment called sarcoid.
it can afflict several organs of the body, but in his case, it affected his brain.
it caused swelling, and subsequent issues from that.
Sorry for your loss. But good for you that you attended everything, in spite
of the fact that some of them avoid you.

i think i read somewhere that these poor little jw kids never went back to school after this.
i remember seeing one of the these girls grew up still a devout jw.
There is an interesting Watchtower Scrapbook at the following link, which has some photos
and what have you pertaining to the flag salute cases. There are 152 pages in all, but the relevant
pages are from 138-147 and 151.

okay here's the deal.
i work right now in homehealth.
the family is mormon.
Nice chandeliers and mirrors and sort of plush furnishings. I found their baptismal font rather interesting.
It's probably based on 1 Kings 7:25
i just thought i'd make up a poll on people's viewpoints of who likes this site better or worse than the .
older one ?.
as for myself, i kind of liked the older one better, its just seems that the usability was better,.
I'm just getting use to a new format for Yahoo e-mail, so it's good that I can get used to the format
here at the same time.
It doesn't take long to catch on to the essentials.
Thanks Simon. Great job.
