  How is everybody dealing with the snow

  hi everybody, i was wondering how were you dealing with the snow.here in connecticut the snow is brutal.so i was wondering how people were surviving was is being the worst winter since 1978..

  In our South Saskatchewan city the area for dumping snow reached 65+ feet in depth and our night time temperature dropped to -34 C or -30 F. I have enough packed snow in my yard to fill a semi dump truck.

  i am a former active poster here, former elder, former bethelite and pretty much known by people on the xjw boards since the mid 90's.

  gawd that makes me sound old.. i notice that a great deal of uproar is being made by allegations of a hide in the closet alleged bethelite.

  to counter the damage caused by this claim, i am happy to address any questions people may have about bethel, protocol, etc.. i was at the canada branch for 11 years, worked in multiple areas including the legal department, service desk and writing dept.

  I want to know if the Scientology movement is a high control religion or something else. The name is not listed on 'Jw Facts' web site. I trying togather some information on other bad control movements involving religion or other.

  Have a question.

  I read some where on this forum that some Bethelites were told by a GB member that the WTBTS has to be reinvented starting with Genesis 1:1. Is this true? I can't find the thread. I would like more information from any body.

  I have been married since 1970 and my wife is a born in witness, but I got involved with this cult back in 1968. My wife has not been able to wake up yet and she is a tough one to convince, so I am still stuck in this religion. She might see some day that it is a cult with my help.

  I joined 7 months ago as "Borgdrone" but changed to my new avatar "paladin" which I prefer better. I found this web sight by searching Google regarding failed predictions like the 1975 and 1914 Generation issues, but soon learned a lot more about the WTBT$ than what I was told or read about. Thank God for the internet.

  the topic of earthquakes marking the "last days" was brought up with interactions i have had with a few different witnesses.

  can someone please explain the exact significance of earthquakes that jw's have?!

  can you please also include any links to actual facts that contradict their views of earthquakes.

  I would just say that the earth's core is still hot and the crust of the earth is always moving about which is a natural occurrence.
