  you won't read this one in the wt.... homicide is no longer a leading cause of death in the united states, the centers for disease control and prevention reports.. the leading causes of death in 2010 remained the same, the cdc reported, except for one: homicide.

  How Many Out There Have to Hide or Be Stealthy When They Visit This Site? I know I do.

  i cannot look at this site freely, it would make my hubby and son very upset.

  i have to hide what i'm looking at, or try to view this page very late or very early in the morning.

  hubby has taken to getting up at 11:30pm or later, to see what i'm doing on the computer.

  I have to keep shoulder checking. My wife does not care about web sites like JWN. I even have to shoulder check when i'm outdoors because I live in an area with many elders. When I think about it i feel sick. No freedom.

  Rule #1. Nothing like this happens in an IFB church.

  i saw this on the ifb facebook wall that i felt you all might appreciate.. rule #1. nothing bad happens in an ifb church.. rule #2. should something bad happen to anyone or sect outside of the ifb, decry them as loudly and as publicly as you can to bolster your people's illusion that the ifb is the only true church.. rule #3. take whatever steps are necessary to insure that rule #1 remains true in the eyes of everyone.. rule #4. should something bad happen in an ifb church, refer back to rule #1..

  Checking Bibles for "God's Name"

  i had a ritual growing up every time we traveled to an assembly or convention.

  in the hotel i would always take a look at the gideon bible's that were always stored in one of the drawers.

  immediately upon finding it i would open up to psalms 83:18 to check if the bible had god's name within it.

  Very tiny change to Service Meeting Announcements protocol.

  for those who want to keep up with the "pure language", i found out this week that at the most recent elder's school, they were told that the announcements should no longer include the following:.

  1. name of public talk and speaker for sunday.

  2. synopsis of all the parts that are coming up on the rest of the service meeting.

  Thanks. Some web sites have what is called a "thin line Bible" NIV for sale. Does this mean large print or small print or what?
