We can think of the complications that can be caused by a consideration of Australia. The white settlers in Australia argued that the "savages" that lived here had no legal right to the land and they were subsequently dispossessed. Not many years ago, the Australian High Court recognised that the original Australians DID HAVE A LEGAL OWNERSHIP TO THE LAND, after all, but they could not confront current ownership.
In Palestine, descendents of the owners of the first century, claim they have a legal right to ownership and can dispossess contemporary owners.
Do you wonder that this is a major problem?
Do you wonder that after 100 years of confrontation between Europeans and Muslims, each succeeding generation becomes more hostile to the west? Do you wonder why young hot-heads, aware of the injustices burdening their spiritual brothers, become more radical?
This is not a new problem, the problems go back more than 1000 years. The problems will still make life dangerous for the grand-children of today's new-born, because the Europeans do not get it.

***one small caveat - we do not know what the lowest level of people did at the time. Did they die somewhere else as refugees? Make new homes on some unused land somewhere? Or, did they give up their religion, left the phallus of the son(s) intact and re-enter the land, presenting as non-jewish? In that last case we would expect some genetic similarities between newly arrived Jews and the dispossessed peoples, now tagged as Palestineans. At least some genetic studies do show similarities. If that situation can be confirmed, then the Jewish/Palestinian problem can be see as brother attemtpting to dispossess brother:

But before we can understand what's happened to Judah and Jerusalem, let's look at the background of King Abdullah.
How did he come to be part of the picture?
To understand that we have to see the 1914-1918 Great war in its true setting or European, and not in the setting that the JWs (and others) place it as the first world war. Its true that this was affected many places in the world, but that was because during the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, European powers had been busy trying to establish colonies in other countries. Many scholars argue that the 1914-1918 war was essentially another European war, part of series of wars that had been occurring for many centuries and which often brought change of ownership to the overseas colonies that European powers had established. Some argue, that this process is still occurring, and that we can view the USA-Russia altercations as part of the endless bickering as part of a process to establish a pecking order among the European (now including the USA) elites.
At the end of the 1914-1918 war, peace treaties were negotiated which attempted to portion out the spoils of war among the (primarily) European victors. Europe was transformed in a process that is still affecting European politics:
Look at this map (below) and think of the areas that are still part of world crisis points. Much of the pink areas, are territories formerly part of the Russian Empire and given up by the new Soviet government in the treaty of Brest-Litovsk (Not part of the Versailles negotiations)
After the Central Powers launched Operation Faustschlag on the Eastern Front, the new Soviet Government of Russia signed the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk with Germany on 3 March 1918. This treaty ended the war between Russia and the Central powers and annexed 1,300,000 square miles (3,400,000 km 2 ) square miles of territory and 62 million people. This loss equated to one third of the Russian population, 25 per cent of their territory, around a third of the country's arable land, three-quarters of its coal and iron, a third of its factories (totalling 54 per cent of the nation's industrial capacity), and a quarter of its railroads.
But our focus is on Western Asia. Here the British and French had the major say and carved up the territories of the former Ottomon empire. The Empire itself had collapsed during the war, with the centre transforming itself into Turkey. But most of the remainder was divided between Britain and France. France got the section that became Syria, and the British took Iraq and Palestine and established suzerainty over Egypt, Sudan and Iran.
To rule their new territories, the British endeavoured to establish the local elites and King Abdullah's family was one of the elite families that gained a major benefit. So does anyone think that what he's saying is unusual for someone in his position. That's not to argue that he's wrong in what he says. I merely point out that there will be many people in the area, without the advantages of being one of the elite, that will disagree with him.

"Original," According to what? Isn't it 'according to," a few people who set out to create a 'foundation myth' about their origins?
And in our times, this 'foundation myth' is trotted out to provide a so-called legal foundation, to the illegal seizure of land from people who once lived in what is now the Israeli state, and who are now dispossessed by modern Jews. Isn't that one of the crunch points in this conflict?
Let's go back to some irrefutable facts. The year 70 CE, saw the Roman state smash the Jewish theocracy and destroy the temple of Jehovah.

Josephus describes the destruction and the slaying of some million people:
"Now as soon as the army had no more people to slay or to plunder, because there remained none to be the objects of their fury (for they would not have spared any, had there remained any other work to be done), [Titus] Caesar gave orders that they should now demolish the entire city and Temple, but should leave as many of the towers standing as they were of the greatest eminence; that is, Phasaelus, and Hippicus, and Mariamne; and so much of the wall enclosed the city on the west side.
... And truly, the very view itself was a melancholy thing; for those places which were adorned with trees and pleasant gardens, were now become desolate country every way."
This happened again in
The city was still a ruin in 130 CE, when the Emperor Hadrian wanted to have the city re-built. However, the Jews were still rebellious and revolted for a second time in the war known as the Bar Kokhba revolt (132-136).
Hadrian was incensed at this second revolt, but went ahead with his re-building plan, with provisions that were intended to erase Judaism from the province. No Jews were allowed to live in the city, by a simple regulation that said that only males with intact prepuces could enter the city. Removal of the prepuce became illegal throughout the former Jewish territories, and the province was re-named Syria Palaestina.
The NEW JERUSALEM was renamed COLONIA ÆLIA CAPITOLINA (Colonia- a colony of - Aelia, from Hadrian's own name, and Capitolina - meaning that the city was now dedicated to the Roman God, Jupiter Capitolinus, whose temple was built on the site of the former temple of Yahweh).
So if you prefer the new name was, The Roman Colony of Jupiter Capitolinus as dedicated by Hadrian's family.
It's important to note this important fact. That the Jewish province of Judea, conquered by the Romans in 63BCE (when Pompey beseiged Jerusalem -again haha) was now completely Roman. Jews (circumcised males) were expelled from the province, and no circumcised male could enter. If they did, they were executed.
We have some idea of what it looked like, as a mosaic floor has been found as part of a floor mosaic in the early Byzantine church of Saint George at Madaba, Jordan. The Madaba Map is a map of the Middle East. Part of it contains the oldest surviving original cartographic depiction of the Holy Land and especially Jerusalem. The church was dedicated in 542 CE, so the mosaic was likely constructed at that time.

Why is all this important to contemporary problems?
We shall try to understand.
But note that for around 700 years Jerusalem and Judea were Roman.

Can't be bothered with all that rubbish. Not worrying about chrissie stuff is one of the few good things I retain from Yahweh's mob.
This year, I'm going to Katoomba (in the mountains, west of Sydney) with some like minded friends for the day. We'll have a picnic lunch somewhere, restaurant meals are too expensive.

Another reason that may make Guangzhou popular with Africans is the long contact with Islam, The Huaisheng mosque, pictured below, has a tradition that it was built in 627AD by Sa`d ibn Abi Waqqas who was an uncle of Muhammad, and supposedly came on his first Muslim mission to China in the 620s. It is certainly true that contact between west Asia and China dates back earlier than that, but there doesn't seem to be much data to confirm that claim.
The tower, that westerners know as a minaret, is known in Chinese as a 'calling tower.'

Its easy to imagine the fears that grew in the area, when ebola broke out again in some African nations. Rumours that there were a half million Illegal Africans in the Guangzhou area swept through the southern cities of Hongkong, Macau, Shenzhen and Guangzhou (a closely linked super metropolis of around 60 million). Of course, there are illegal migrants, but the number apparently is much less than the rumours.

A Guangzhou airport official also said the city was handing out free mobile phones to visitors from Ebola-hit countries so the authorities could keep in touch with them.
City border checkpoints recorded 430,000 arrivals and exits by nationals from African countries in the first nine months. But only 16,000 live in Guangzhou.
"There has been a misunderstanding. The count is about visits and exits, not the number of residents, let alone the number of stranded African people," deputy mayor Xie Xiaodan said.
He added that most of the residents were businesspeople, students or teachers.
More than 4,900 people have died in an Ebola disease outbreak in West Africa. The World Health Organisation estimates there have been 13,703 cases of the disease in the region. Most have occurred in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.
Barry Sultane, a leader of the Guinean community in Guangzhou and a businessman who has lived in the city for 10 years, said the need for clarification was understandable.
Most arrivals were people coming for trips of less than two weeks to buy goods, he said.
Sultane said intense television coverage about the virus had fanned fears of a local outbreak reminiscent of the 2003 epidemic of severe acute respiratory syndrome, or Sars. "But you must understand that not everybody from Africa is in contact with the virus and only three countries were affected," Sultane said.
Lin Songtian, director general of the Department of African Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said China had stepped up scrutiny of arrivals from countries affected by Ebola but visa policies remained unchanged.
Wu Huiming, from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, told Xinhua that the city began handing out free cellphones and medical kits to visitors from Ebola-affected countries on Monday, with 98 phones handed out by Thursday.
Recipients had to keep their phones on for 21 days so medical workers could track them.
"People who fail to do so will be put on our black list upon their next trip to China," Wu said.
Chinese Assistance in Africa against the Ebola epidemic
China had sent a team to build a 100-bed treatment centre in Liberia, the country worst hit by the virus, Lin said. It will be ready within 30 days. The centre is part of China's fourth round of emergency assistance, which now totals 500 million yuan (HK$630 million).
Beijing has also donated a mobile laboratory to Sierra Leone and sent a 59-member team from the Chinese Centre for Disease Control and Prevention to test blood samples, bringing the total presence of Chinese medical staff in Africa to nearly 200.
Another 480 staff from the army have undergone training ahead of their deployment to Liberia. The first 160 staff are scheduled to leave in two weeks.
