  marinade for Vegetable Kabobs

  i am looking for marinade for vegetable kabobs.

  there are alots of suggestions on the internet, but i cannot decide which one i want yet.

  it would be my first time to marinade the vegetable kabobs before i grill them..

  Interesting...this is the first time I have noticed this particular spelling of kebab, but after reading http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kebab I see it is the spelling from Pakistan and Afghanistan.

  If you use the normal spelling of kebab when you search online I expect there are many more recipes available, though since the word always means a meat dish, a vegetable kebab is really something else.

  help.. urgently a friend has spirits in her house priest removed then can they come to me if she s in my home.

  please advise i was brought up as a witness and know the faith of jehovah very well i choose not to follow my dad as a witness as i didnt like the way he taught me the truth hence i know its true.. we are having a party at our house for chikdren ans a mum at the school has been invited she told me shes devestated as she has a ghost and its touching the kids on the landing................. i t freaked me out oviously its saturn the devil or his spirits, i came home said a prayer to jehovah as i do quite often to protect us etc.

  if she arrives at my hpome can the spirts come here, please advise as i dont want to put my family inthis situation , she has told me a priest has taken it away... i dont believe it............ my dad is a elder of the congregation hence we dont speak, he always taught me stay well away and youll be ok, so even though its gone from herehouae id love your thoughst so i can maybe cancell her calling, i certainly wouldnt keep any gift from her in my home... many thanks suzanne dickenson.. .

  in the previous elder's manual was it a judicial offence if somebody persistently associated with a disfellowshipped person?

  i am sure it ws when i was an elder.

  was that not how they finally got ray franz?.

  There are 2 differences - now it says relatives, before it said 'close' relatives, giving the elders more freedom in deciding who was or was not a close relative. Secondly it says they will not be dealt with judicially but before said 'normally', previously allowing local elders to decide that there could be an exception in a particular case. The result? In many congregations, no change, and in others where the local elders would hang on every word in the book looking for a loophole to put a head in a disfellowshipping noose the wording is now less ambiguous.

  Why did the WTS stop having the rank and file pay for magazines? (1990)

  we had our po visit this week, and he was telling us about how the rank and file had to stop paying for their magazine.

  why and how did this come about (i was born in 1983) so by the time i could get to the literature counter, everything (at least i thought when i was kid) was free.. .

  was more of an emphasis put on voluntary donating?.

  As further proof that it was a tax dodge, the new arrangement was not introduced in all countries at the same time. The focus was on those countries that were likely to seek tax returns, such as the USA, France, UK and some other countries. As a result, for quite a while, literature in many affluent countries was offered 'without charge' while in many 3rd world countries they still had to pay.

  Although all countries now offer the literature without charge, there are still variations. In the UK, JW's are not to ask for a donation - they must wait for the recipient to mention it. In Italy, however, the KM includes requests for money in the examples of what to say at a door. In some third world countries, because the JW is also poor and cannot afford to pay at the hall without getting the money back, they still will not give literature unless a suitable 'donation' is made, except for a tract.

  If a congregation does not send in donations regularly each month, they are advised that 'controlled stock' will no longer be delivered. As others have said, it is just semantics - the literature is still not free, but it gets around tax laws. If a country wants taxes, as France did, instead of paying they close down the branch and import the literature instead. So much for giving the things due to Caesar......

  this is the information for the number 3 talk this week.. how do jehovahs witnesses arrive at their explanation of the bible?.

  a key factor is that the witnesses really believe that the bible is gods word and that what it contains is there for our instruction.

  JW's are disfellowshipped if they try to interpret the Bible. That is restricted to the GB.

  Another answer...temporarily, because within 5 years they will have changed their minds.....

  As mentioned before, it varies from congregation to congregation. But you can't have a beard because Jesus hated having a beard when he was on earth. It itched and smelt funny after a lamb kebab or some dried fish. So Jesus directed the GB to ban beards.........

  Congratulations!

  They no longer have any control over you, so when you see a JW you know in future, don't forget to say 'hi' to them. You do not have to avoid them or not talk to them - those are their rules, not yours, so no need to feel the slightest bit uncomfortable. :)

  I WAS CAUGHT emailing a pdf copy of the New Elders Book

  i sent a .pdf to a few friends and one of them betrayed me and forward it to a elder i know, along with the emails of the recipients.

  i cant believe i was so naive to think that i can trust someone..stupid.

  i have not talked to the "benedict arnold" yet, but hopefully soon.

  "It seems the further away from bethel you are the lower the standards."

  They have higher standards in Bethel? First I have heard of that....further away is just less regimented (less organized according to a strict, oppressive system), more human.
