well i finally go my invitation to the ritual today.
i didn't know either of them but they had a nice smile and were dressed in the proper attire.
the invitation was a little less quality than usual, and said, "printed in the usa".
Well, I'm glad someone gets invited !!
I miss out yet again, that's 7 years in a row for me.
Wonder why that is ??
Although my mom was saying that an elder buddy of mine has been asking about me and wanting to call in and see me hmmm....
Maybe I better find my old suits and see which one will fit me, nah, if he calls I'll see if he wants to go out on the town with me instead.

This place is a second home for me and I just felt I had to share my joy with you all.
Jahkeil and Stacey are doing fine thanks.
It looks like they may even be coming home today.
So, with the fantastic care they were both given during the past week and the support of our families we got thru our little trial.
There will be another pic with my two girls on it's way when they get home.

She was 7lb 10oz and almost 20 inches.
She is my second, her sister has those same dark georgous eyes.
They both had heaps of lovely dark hair as well.
I'm gonna invest in a shotgun when they get older lol

Jahkeil is recovering.
When she was born she wouldn't breathe.
I was in the operating theatre as they decided to do an emergency caesarean.
I stood there watching them work on her(5 in total) to get her to breathe.
Then put her in an incubator and wheel her to the special care unit.
But it's been 6 days now and she is finally out of the incubator and able to breathe for herself.
Hopefully they will be coming home soon.

inspired while posting on another thread, i was wondering, have you ever competed with other jws to get recognition or favour??
i can remember as a kid, being in a book study group with other kids, and when it came time to give an answer that kids could cope with...all kiddie sized hands would fly up and we'd all look at each other in the hope that it was our hand that got chosen.
i remember some kids would burst into tears if they didn't get chosen...and others would scowl or quickly go about looking for the next answer.

Yeah I remember as a kid trying to get my answer.
My sister and I would compete to answer.
I used to try and make her laugh when she got picked.
Trouble was I would get caught and a clip over the ear came my way.

Haha Beck, yep, I was guilty of the same as your ex.
I had to take 2 bags to the meetings.
One huge bugger with all the accounts info etc, plus my normal briefcase that had my meeting crap in it.
Then for the field I had this other bag, and that was a bit of a whopper, it had truckloads of stuff in it, very impressive but oh so heavy.
Just thinking about when you would go with your mum Vi, I used to love Field Service as a kid, why ?? So I could run up to the door and push the doorbell. How sad is that !!
