Don't have MTV down here in the sticks, but heard about it on the radio.

has anyone given any thought to the fact that jw's are supposed to be a loving organization and yet they are probably the biggest gossipers around, time and time again there were talks given on not gossiping and how the tongue such a little member can cause huge bush fires, i personally know of many that were stumbled away because of gossip that was untrue, any thoughts on this guys.
Hey Chezz,
Yeah, there was always the 'in' crowd, they had their finger on the pulse.
So many in my old cong were known for their gossip mongering, and the worst of them all was an MS/Pioneer, he was atrocious.
Hey Beck, I also wonder what was said when I was shafted. I reckon their jaws were yapping overtime.

organization celebrate any holidays without a problem?
or attend birthday parties and stuff like that without it bothering you?i know i dont have a problem with it.i dont celebrate any major holidays but thats because after so many years not doing it i would feel weird doing it now but i dont have a problem being invited to a gathering that has to do with any of the above.
Welcome Lalis,
I've been out 7 years and have been right into the festivities.
Last year my baby had her 1st birthday.
It was a dilema for me as I had never been to a kids birthday party and didn't know what to do.
But with the help of my partner & in-laws we had a wonderful day.
I enjoy the time spent together as families, but now that I'm right into it, my wallet hurts more than my conscience.

im sure we all remember how nervous we were around the circuit overseer and how careful we were with our words, i recall one day being out in service with the co's wife and my daughter said to her my dad calls me his mamoo which in greek meant monkey and the co's wife says how cute, and then my daughter says and i call him my little farting machine, omg i called have fallen through the ground, needless to say the circuit overseers wife was not amused, so what funny things have we all said or heard said?
