  my grades were soaring, i would be graduating soon and i had a decent job to pay for my own place.

  I remember a young unbapt pub in our congo having a similar relationship with a worldly like Michael.
  She copped it too from the gossip mongers. If that's one thing I will always remember, the Joho's love to gossip about people.
  It gets me how they are so concerned about keeping the congo clean, so quick to wipe you off the books.

  Ever shun a JW?

  after many years of limited contact, my jw sister and i are now getting along very well.

  after many years of limited contact, i don't ever want to see or talk to one of my jw cousins.. here are some things she has done.. 1. my mother was disfellowshipped because she could not quit smoking.

  at a family gathering at a nonjws house, my cousin said my mother should not be invited because she was disfellowshipped.

  Gidday Larc,
  I do shun them, but it seems that it is pointless because they don't recognise me.
  I've been out for 7 years and in that time I lost a lot of weight, grew my hair and a goatie, had laser surgery on my eyes so I no longer wear glasses.
  In fact, I looked younger now than I did while a Joho.
  Just yesterday I was leaving a store and this elder opened the door for me, hahaha, if only he'd known it was me.
  We go back a while too, both went to the same pioneer school, worked together a lot, he helped me become an elder etc...
  What gets me is that there are a number of Joho's who despite the LAW they have, they will go out of their way to speak to me.
  SUCKERS!! as if I will ever go back.

  do you still have all your wt literature from your days in the "truth"??.

  when i moved from ky to ohio nearly 3 years ago, i left all my books, notes, everything, on the bookshelves in my home.

  i never packed them up - nothing.

  Hey Shelly,
  I did the same, left the lot behind. Mind you, my ex is still a Jo-ho, so she would obviously be putting my library to use. I had some pretty old publications too.
  I never wanted any of it apart from my pioneer book.
  Now, almost 7 years down the track I do wish I had kept them for research purposes.
  I've got a few on the book shelf now and they do bother me. But having CoC and In Search..., plus my Stephen King collection seems to balance it up.

  Never smoked during my dub days.
  When out I still didn't bother for a good 3 years.
  Then I was travelling home after a weekend away, it was a good 5 hour drive, and bought me a pack of ciggies.
  That was 5 years ago and still chuffing.

  well, we got a new digital camera and took it on our little jaunt to orlando, so i thought i'd share a few with you.. we went to this dinner theater where they dress up as knights and do the whole jousting and sword fighting thing.

  since we had two teenage boys with us...it was their idea of a fun evening.

  Angharad, it does look cold alright, brrrr we're heading for winter down here, so I can relate.
  COMF, now that looks like a bit of me, I reckon I should get one set up in my office.
  Gopher, you sure do have a tall girl alright. It's so true how we can go on about them. I email my sisters almost every day and tell them what my girls been doing etc...
