You sound like you should be on the LDC. We already had the money for that in our hands, and the LDC guy left with that and told us to make due. I bet you our money won't be used for a New KH too. -

Hypocrisy of JW Thinking After Tragedy Like Paris
by freemindfade init never has ceased to boggle my mind how twisted up jw thinking is.
when they see something like what happened in paris, in person they will express how sad and detestable it is quickly followed by "this is why we need the kingdom, and the desert god is gonna fix everything.
" here is where i get perplexed.

New Light: Don't hold hands during prayers
by RR infrom the watchtower november 15 study edition.. 19 when we are being represented in public prayer, we need to display reverential "fear of god.
" (1 pet 2:17) there may be a proper time and place for some actions that would be inappropriate at a christian meeting.
(eccl 3:1) for instance, suppose someone sought to have all in a group link arms or hold hands during prayer.

Well I would hold my wife's hand but I can't. I'm a very successful Hand Model. I can't even wash the dishes in my home unless we are using Joy Detergent. I have to be prudent when I'm with company. Sometimes they want to shake my hand. The French like to kiss them. Sometimes when I'm dining at Colonel Sanders, the guest stare at my fingers and think that they're finger licking good. -

Brother Tim Horton, the new service overseer
by dropoffyourkeylee instopped in tim horton's ( a donut shop) at 10:00 a m today and there were no less than 12 jws in there from three different car groups.
it took about 25-30 minutes for them all to get their orders and get on their way.
that's almost 6 hours of service time in the glorious 'ministry'.

Yes, I suppose I'm a little cavalier with my lengthy coffee breaks, knowing that the end is so close. I blame my attitude on the fact that more than half the people that I knock on their doors are not home/or don't answer their doors, and the Soc hasn't got the insight to figure out how to better use our time to deliver the message. It's kind of their ability to finance their work. Both methods suck. -

I'm not too concerned about anyone's right to how long they feel they need for a coffee break. With the comments I've heard on here it sounds like some, and the GB are overly concerned with the length of some coffee breaks. Maybe I'm sensitive to this because I'm one of those long coffee break people. But, I don't leave any tracks behind. -

Does the W.T have financial problems are are they just rebranding?
by The Rebel init is evident that the w.t has recently re-branded itself, and has become fairly modern in its marketing techniques.
so the organisation is in that respect forward thinking, and the former way of doing things has past.. .
but this rebranding has been done by marketing experts, who maybe realise progress is progress, and that with modernisation many bethelites " even as free volunteers" are possibly no longer required.

If you went back 10 years ago, you got the message, "Stop slacking you dead beats, Get out in Service. Don't you know the end is near?"
Now the message is, " Keep those contributions coming, Don't you know it cost money for Warwick, JW Broadcasting, Internet, etc?"
Rebranding

by Muddy Waters intight pants, colored socks, blue shirts, beards, wire -rimmed glasses... .
does anybody remember any thing else that was once or still is proscribed against faithful j-dubs?
when brothers in our kh started wearing different colored shirts rather than white, it caused a great stir and ruckus.
