  elder: plese watch the november programm on jw broadcasting.. me: what i hope for is the change of the doctrine that states that jesus is not the mediator between jehovah and all jw's but only between jehovah and the 144000. i believe jesus is my mediator even if i am not one of the 144000. .

  When Revelation chapter 7 speaks about a great crowd who have washed their robes in the blood of the Lamb....they can't have Jesus as a Mediator?

  Eagerly anticipating the death of billions!

  surely someone who eagerly looks forward to the death of billions of people (including babies and children) is not emotionally healthy?.

  yet, that is the key belief "happily" anticipated by witnesses.... food for thought?.

  Yes, I hear your comments, and I think it's unjust. But let me ask you, how do you get rid of a Hornets nest? Do you hit it with a stick? or, Do you find that a more extreme action is required? There are a lot of Disturbed Hornets in this world.

  When Nato attacks ISIS there are some civilian Casualties, sometimes.

  I believe in a intervention, but I'm not quite convince that the WT has the right understanding.

  So ... Russia and Nato at war? Should we be worried?

  it seems unbelievable but turkey (a nato member state) shooting down a russian jet fighter on their syrian border seems to be "meh" news and no one is too bothered about it too much.. the world seems a bit upside down right now.

  i don't think a lot of countries really know who the hell they are fighting and who is and isn't on their side in it all and really what is going on.. smaller incidents than this have led to major conflicts in the past but hopefully calm heads will prevail.

  china shot down a us spy plane years ago and the world survived and forgot about it so things will move on i'm sure.. i'm guessing the price turkey pays for their gas supply from russia will be going up soon though.. man, that republican primary is sucking all the news attention from the room.

  Did I imagine a brief thaw in the Watchtower injunction against going to university?

  okay i was talking to an elder and he said me going to university was a bad idea and i should have listened to the society and not gone.

  but i said that when i went to university the watchtower was saying it might not be a bad idea to go to, as long as you do it for the "right reasons", don't associate with worldly people, and keep clear of "damaging ideas".

  but basically they said it was okay, in this "changing world" and job market to go to university.

  Yes, that's right. The ORG layed off all those Bethellites and said they couldn't use uneducated ones anymore so get out in FS. But, you had to read it between the lines.

  I'm still confused in the Cong Bookstudy that stated that Jah could have saved all the animals but he allowed mankind to save only two of them on the ark. The animals fit for a sacrifice were seven. But they had a death sentence on them.

  's to hang on either side of the stage.

  You sound like you should be on the LDC. We already had the money for that in our hands, and the LDC guy left with that and told us to make due. I bet you our money won't be used for a New KH too.

  Hypocrisy of JW Thinking After Tragedy Like Paris

  it never has ceased to boggle my mind how twisted up jw thinking is.

  when they see something like what happened in paris, in person they will express how sad and detestable it is quickly followed by "this is why we need the kingdom, and the desert god is gonna fix everything.

  " here is where i get perplexed.
