  Character assassination verse the bullet?

  would you as person in a terrorist siege denounce christianity ( even if you were not christian ) and pledge an oath to allah so save your arse from a bullet to the back of your head ?.

  I am a graduate of the Dwight K Schrute philosophy..

  Question.... Would the terrorists be using automatic weapons? Yes? Ok....

  First.... I would quickly gain possession of said gun from the largest terrorist and then bend the wrist of the terrorist so as to manuever his body in front of me.

  Second.... I would proceed, as such, shooting as many terrorists in the head while protecting myself with the large terrorist.

  Third... After bullets have been dispensed from the automatic weapon I was so cleverly able to get from the large terrorist... I would use my purple belt Karate skills to subdue any remaining pathetic terrorists.

  I would then proceed to choose several females to escort me out of the property and continue protecting them for the rest of our lives.

  Why is the white race so different?

  what i'm saying is the white race is the only one that has a verity of eye and hair colors , so what gives?

  is it that this race was influenced genetically by a group of pre humans that didn't mix with other races?

  I think on some level you have to think about "what if's" If I take my point alone I could argue about what would happen if the US banned a religion, what could they ban next? Its human nature to question. At the end of the day though you have to deal with the reality that we live in.
  

  I would agree that you need to punish actions. You cannot ban ideas no matter how extreme because at the end of the day what are you really banning? People are still going to think about crazy shit. Its a lot better to allow jdubs to prance around from door to door or sit at a corner stand selling flowers so that they can be questioned and have their crazy ideas out in the open.

  Not allowing children life saving medical treatement... I agree, lock up the idiot parents.
  

  Catching people not reporting child molestation..... Discipline the parents and lock up the elders.

  Enforce behaviors not ideas.

  How in allah's green earth can you agree that a person's ideas for shunning another person are in the scope of the federal government?

  Outright banning a religion is idiotic. Ideas need to be tested and questioned in the public square, not by legislative mandate. History has shown that the heavy handed force of government is not the way to beat down ideas. Good ideas will eventually beat down bad ideas. Ideas may not take root as quickly as we would sometimes like but human progress is slow.

  Picking up one end of the stick means picking up both ends......

  I have a choice of what religion I want to be in. I chose to leave (one end of stick) and therefore lost 98% of my family and friends(other end of that same stick) If I chose to stay in the religion I would keep my friends but would lose all my self respect and dignity. Very simple choice for me.

  By the way... I still have the stick... am running with the stick... and no one will ever take it away from me!

  My government in America is not telling me that. The government in Russia is telling its people their thoughts are now illegal. That is EXTREMELY dangerous. It floors me how so many people think that is a good thing.

  Like I said, slippery slope. So you now want to legislate what groups I can or cannot join?

  Fuck you! (not literally you but anyone telling me what group I can or cannot join)

  I spent 30 years of my life getting marching orders from this group. It was not until I started thinking for myself that I got out. When I realized that there was indeed NOTHING keeping me inside, the only walls keeping me in were in my own head.... walls that I could knock down ANYTIME I wanted to. Did I suffer consequences of making the decision to take my life back? Sure... welcome to the real fucking life.

  I can concede that certain actions are asinine or maybe even extreme but individual liberty is worth the price of having certain individuals or even groups with ideologies that are "extreme"

  Choosing who I want talk to or do not talk to or what medical treatment I want is a personal decision that I want to be allowed to make for myself.

  I am never going to message you directly again. If I were to see you in person I, I would never talk to you. You may want a reason or may try to reason with me to change my view but I have the right to not converse with you for whatever effing reason I want. Does that make me extremist? Maybe, but it does not give my government the right to make my beliefs (read.. thoughts) illegal.

  The slope that these rusky apologists are walking is a slippery one indeed.

  Orphan... I agree 100%.... What good is religion?

  I hope that I will always live in a society that is not only burdened with the task of fighting against barbaric practices against children but will never rest in that fight. Can you think of anything more important then fighting against these practices??

  Why do parents still refuse to provide these blood treatments?? Because they value belief and obedience to their god more then their own children's lives. The dubs have indeed adjusted their teaching... not because they thought it was the moral thing to do but kicking and screaming because we have a vigilant society that is burdened with protecting our children.

  At the end of the day, these are personal beliefs. Fucked up, short sighted personal beliefs. Fucked up, short sighted personal beliefs must be allowed in a free and open society.

  If a parent refuses treatment, grabs the kid and runs from he hospital or does not take the kid to the hospital in the first place then he has broken the law and needs to be punished.

  It is in fact a costly burden but one that is of vital importance.
