Alleymom; thanks for your work I spent about 10 hours this week argueing with my jw dad over 607. My main point was that the wt lies every time they quote some bible scholar. i used your work and the Snarky guy from youtube to prove the writers at bethel are bold face liars. there is so much to tell. but the bottom line is my jw dad admittes there are no wt books that do not contain lies. long story short i asked my dad " whats the point of the preaching work if every wt mag /book are full of LIES"... I told him give the wt pub. that has no Lies in it and I will go out and knock on every door in NYC peddling that book. I asked this question for hours. He could not answer me ..

On a side note, I have also dealt with the same Holier than thou jw's and got my ass kicked many times. I'm just trying to point out that I have learned to turn these so called super jw's into nothing more than babbling idiots and make them understand i just made a jack ass out of them. The whole trick is to make them know in thier heart you just exposed them . and take that stupid smirk off their face and embarrass the shit out them. I hope you see were i'm coming from . Flipper ; I re thunked my response to your witnessing work. And you did a fine FINE JOB. Your right you planted just enough seeds to have the whole cong. talking for months about that man who stepped up to jw's at the coffee shop. You never know what you tell a jw might stick in their head for years and bare fruit. The part i like about witnessing to jw's in the street, is you will most likely never see that person again. Moshe - "JWs are sensitive to the social opinion . . ." Really? I have a couple of Jewish acquaintances/friends who think they are the devil's cult -- I've wondered where they are informed or receive info about the JWs. They couldn't believe I (or any other human being) have family members involved and asked how/why they became involved w/the religion. It's embarrassing how people talk/feel about the witnesses.

Flipper; i thank you of your work at starbucks and i know your a standup guy. the mistake you made was not pressing them when you had them ON THE ROPES. wHY did you walk away with your knowledge? You had them over a barrell, you should have grinding them for all it was worth. You knew you had them and you let them off the hook. just my honest thoughts. don't be mad I still love you. Brother Hero and Brother Sidekick, should I ask Brother Sidekick about the 1919 selection?
by garyneal ini went to the nearby 7-eleven on my lunch break to get a fountain drink and i happened to bump into some people from my wifes congregation including brother hero and brother sidekick.
brother hero was the guy who conducted a bible study with me using the bible teach book (my god, i have been around the witnesses and former witnesses too much as i even know the cult speak and book name abbreviations).
during our study he began bringing over another brother from the congregation who i began referring to as brother sidekick.. i found out from my wife that brother sidekick is the son-in-law of one of the elders in that congregation.

My Return Visit....

while i was there, i ran off some jws (i used to attend their congregation) that were attempting to call on my sister in law.

Elder father sent me an email about Feb 2012 WT - my resposne
by TheStumbler ini'm not sure if any of you will remember but i posted on here six months ago about a correspondence i was having with my dad, an elder, about who would die in armageddon.
i was asking some tough questions about children being killed in armageddon and i could tell he uncomfortable with the answers he was giving.. i drafted an email in resposne to his email but in the end i decided not to send it in the interest of maintaining friendly relations.. .
last week, out of the blue, my dad sent an email link to the february 2012 watchtower article about armageddon and said it would answer some of my questions.. here is my response which is a critique of the feb 2012 wt article and some of the broader ethics concerning 'armageddon'.

i would send it as is, don't change it into questions. you asked this question last year (it must be still be bothering him) for him to send you the new wt.
