i'LL chime in on this one. In the late 1930's OR early 40's when ww2 was just starting the wts proclaimed the king of the north (axis powers) would take over the king of the south (the united state and britian) ie. win the war. before the outbreak of the BIG A. to follow. I'm bored and figured i'd throw out that little tid-bit of an other wt flip flop. the wts also said in the 1950's that the U.S.S.R the king of the north was going to take over the king of the south (U.S. BRITIAN) Of course they were wrong again. I'm bored but not bored enough to look it up . wow sitting at the wt conventions truly gives purposeless boredom a new meaning.

Stumbled across a recurring theme in WT: teach 'the organization' to your kids
by sd-7 inyesterday afternoon, right before i was about to take my wife to the kingdom hall (no, i'm not attending, haven't been in 9 months, strangely enough am still thinking of returning if it would help my marriage, but it won't), i happened to notice her opened october 15th, 2010 watchtower.
around page 25 or so, there was an article that caught my eye.
it instructed parents to teach their children to 'not act independently of the organization, even in small matters'.

i think wt articles telling jw's to look up wt history etc. Is an indirect way some wts writers giving hints the wt is bogus. Thats how I got interested in wt history , from reading wt mag's. I fact they laid out a map for me to expose the wts. better than any bible arguement I ever heard

I give him LOTS OF CREDIT for not letting them change the subject. and drive his points HOME. TRUST ME THE ELDERS UNDERSTOOD WHAT MR. My point was if the jw's come around again keep hitting them with questions they can't answer and make them lie to your face. then call them on their lies, thats right I say embarrass jw's when you catch them lying. Mr. Freeze; I'm impressed the way you twisted those jw's into knots. There are only a few dozen xjws I know on this board that can do what you DID TO THOSE JW'S. See you have their number, you turned them UPSIDE/down on thier own teachings. When you stump them the way you did, you have to keep kicking them on the same topic over and over and over again till you make them cry UN CLE. Just from reading your post you sound like a young man and smart AS A WHIP !!! Sticky Situation - What to do?

i have left it alone for many years but i wonder what you guys think.. i faded away from the cult and stopped going for quite a while.
my older sister took it upon herself to meet with my family and discuss all my sins and actions (they were active).

I<3god ; I know your pissed. I'm usually the first poster here to say go off on your jw family and cause them as much trouble as you can. In your case they have alway left the wts. weather they are elders or r&f jw's , their day will come. I would sit back and watch them destroy themsleves. it will happen just as they have shunned you for years. I would remind them every time they talk to you , that they can not lie to me or jehovah, I will never forget how you treated me. and Jehovah will never forget how you lie in his name. YOur nothing but a hypocrite. you can turn tha tables on them without ever trying to turn them in to the elders. I feel your pain.

Your First Dealings with Apostates

my first encounter with apostates was back at a district assembly around 1978. they were picketing outside peacefully with banners and such.
no apostates below could see me but i could hear them.

I was always a so called apostate what really woke me up on how jw's are brain washed . was at the silentlambs march on Brooklyn bethel about 10 years ago. there was apostates wearing hollow ween masks to cover their faces. and when we got to bethel in about 2 minutes all the window blinds at 25 columbia heights were closed very fast on a very large building. Bill Bowen was Calling out from a LOUD BULL HORN, FOR THE leaders of the wts to come out and talk to him/us about the child molestions. well the wt s locked the gates at 25 columbia heights and the best the Silent Lambs could do was ring a intercom asking jw leaders to come down and discuss the problems. none ever came to talk and this was all on NYC TV news 11 wpix...

Even if I go back to that time again, I would insist on surgery without a blood transfusion,” the mother said. It's true we don't have all the facts . but the mothers statement above seems to imply that blood had something to do with the death. It's the whole point the parents ignored a court order surely with hellp from hlc or elders. It's things like this that make me call for a ban on the wts worldwide. just my 2 cents
