  An apostate that changes one religion for another, yes, he can be reindoctrinated. He just changes the pillar with the cross and Jehovah with God. He can change the cross for the pillar again and also God for Jehovah. An apostate who sees the truth can never be indoctrinated again: there is no God and no Jehovah, no Jesus, no pillar and no cross.

  i think it's iran.. they're straight up crazy wackos whos main goal is to create caliphate, world under one islamic law.

  they actually believe they can accomplish this by causing great tribulation themselves with nuclear attack.. according to their belief, when theres great tribulation in the world, allah will come down and destroy non-muslims and will bring paradise.

  so if they blow up nuke, it will speed up the process.

  Things are more complex. North Korea also throws boasts about their nuclear program each time they ran out of food. And when the North Koreans start digging for roots in the public parks, their government makes belligerent threats until some nation send then one or two merciful ships with potatoes and cabbage. And then the North Koreans are happy again.

  Iran is the same, only they don't need food, they need attention, like a spoiled child. And the Iranian government will not survive for another 5 years. The Lybian experiment will be repeated and Israel will not move one finger (officially). Iran will be freed by the people (like Lybia). You say Obama is a chicken??? I have some news for you: presidents come and go, but in their vicinity there are people who stay the same, year after year. And those people have stars on their shoulders and on their berrets. Those are the real power of the US, not Obama. They say if the US can go into Iran, not Obama. Obama just communicates their decision to the press.

  The US are at this moment the most pragmatic nation on Earth. If they wage war, you bet your ass they have excellent reasons to do so and if they want peace, you can bet you ass twice that they have excellent reasons for that too.

  What is morality? A transgression against an imaginary being called "God"? Whose God? Transgression against a fellow human? That is a part of survival and is inevitable. Transgression against the planet? Also survival, also inevitable. Either we are all immoral from an earthly perspective, or we are immoral from the perspective of an absolute being who does not exist. When we will be capable of surviving without transgressing against the planet and against other beings (real, not imaginary), we will be moral.

  Are only women signing up for Jah's army?

  this morning as i was out doing my morning run, i noticed 3 vans drive by and park on a small connecting street near my home.

  out of the three vans came 14 jw's out for their morning field service.

  all but two of the 14 were women and one of the guys was probably around 14 or 15. the other guy looked to be in his 40's.

  Bizarre 'Spirit anointed' v. 'Spirit appointed' explanation in Dec 15th WT

  hi everyone, i am going through the dec 15th study edition of the wt thanks to a tip-off that this issue is now available online at jw.org.. in the article "guided by god's spirit in the first century and today" on page 25 there is a bizarre argument put forward by the society about the difference between spirit-anointed and spirit-appointed.. this touches on a subject that i have often wondered about, which is this.

  why are spirit anointed brothers and sisters (memorial partakers) not given positions of oversight in the congregation by default?

  i know it sounds like a stupid question, but please think about it for a moment.
