It is an interesting tactic and I like it... Spreading a rumor about a non-existant book. Then, if an elder hears of such, they would no doubt defend it. In the right forum, it might be fun to bring up, but any long term discussion would be short lived. For example, how would you bring up the contents of a Harry Potter novel? Since you're not supposed to read it, you're not suposed to know anything about it.

gas station witnessing?

these witnesses are my parents neighbors and they tried to turn me in for smoking pot, unfortunately for them, they told the elders it was the wrong person.

Satanus Black people vote democrat (Obama's party) partly because the opposition runs part of their politics on villifying Blacks. That is a problem the Right has to deal with though and it won't be solved so easily since doing so has been polarizing. Would it be racist to you if Whites voted against Obama because he was Black? This song and dance can go round and round. Saying either minimizes.

I always associated the term elderette not just to an elder's wife. elderette was (to me) meant for those women who felt they were above others because their husband might be the PO/CC, or because of their clique, or attitude, or something that made them feel they were above others in the Society's status, regardless of the numerous articles reassuring all that even the elders are humble servants and there are no class distinctions. The elderettes were those who felt they could counsel anyone , including brothers! If this is not you then don't worry. Because elderette is not a term of endearment
