I agree. Watching any LOTR was very boring. I hate Frodo's guts for being such a wimp.

or pretty much any star trek movie.
i tried watching the lor movies today, but my god, it's just battle after battle after battle and frodo, cute guy though he is, wimping out all over the place and having to be carried by everyone.. dull... i have never succeeded in watching those damn movies from beginning to end..

Queenwitch, the two versions have been going on for a couple of years now, but you can get all elctronic copies at jw.org regardless of who you are The prereqs? Pretty much like it always has been for the hardcopy, except study copies are more limited so publishers would only grab for themselves and studies.

The fact that they came up with the CD ROM and now WOL shows how much they want R&F to study the Watchtower. The wanted it to be easier than having to go to the local hall, using the index books and then searching for a subject.
A problem will come up though.
When new adjustments come around, the GB will have to tell individual members to destroy the old copies of the CD ROM in similar fashion as the instructions to the local bodies to get rid of certain publications if they exist in the library.

come out with an article making fun of those who 'falsely predict the end of the world' .
i'll take bets on #3.

Cold Steel, and so goes the problem with the Governing Body. They have raised themselves up as the only verifyiable (in their mind) annointed. They do this but are only spirit directed (or so they say), giving the impression that they have greater insight in how they came to be annointed than the rest.

When the Witnesses ignore the other families with their needs and instead look to offer Bible studies, I wonder if they will be honest and quote Galations 6:10.
Really, then, as long as we have time favorable for it, let us work what is good toward all, but especially toward those related to [us] in the faith.
Every time I see this used as a response for what R&F should do in emergency cases, it gives a stern reminder that "those worldly people" are not related to those associated with the WTB&TS.
