  "We are simply providing space (for children to pray),"

  WHY!? Why would you do that?

  Last I checked, you can pray anywhere at anytime. According to every religion I'm aware of, you can do it silently and you don't need any particular room for it.

  I know Muslims have to bow to Mecca 5 freaking times a day, but you can really do that from anywhere and there's no reason for the school to assist you in that endeavor.

  OK so I read that article twice and I STILL don't understand what the issue is.

  This is in Canada and I'm not familiar with their constitution.

  Groups including the Jewish Defence League of Canada, the Canadian Hindu Advocacy and the Christian Heritage Group, are upset that a middle school in the city's north end has provided Muslim students cafeteria space for a weekly prayer service, saying the board showed favouritism to Islam.

  This makes it sound as if the school is actively supporting and promoting the prayer by setting up an area for them to hold their official weekly prayer service. . . which I would have a problem with for obvious reasons.

  But some opponents say allowing students to pray on school property goes against the school board's policy that schools should be a place of study free from cultural or religious influence. While others say the right should be left open to all groups

  But then this makes it sound as if there's a group trying to ban individual students from praying in school at all. Meaning that they wouldn't have a special area for it, but ALSO that the students wouldn't be able to pray by themselves alone before a meal. Or silently pray when they are upset. . . This doesn't make any sense either. And I'm opposed to this as well for, hopefully, obvious reasons.

  Students should be ALLOWED to pray in school as long as they do it silently and the school doesn't endorse it in any way. What's so hard about that? I don't get it!

  cape canaveral, florida (ap) nasa scientists are doing their best to tell us where a plummeting six-ton satellite will fall later this week.

  it's just that if they're off a little bit, it could mean the difference between hitting florida or landing on new york.

  or, say, iran or india.. pinpointing where and when hurtling space debris will strike is an imprecise science.

  The space agency says there are no toxic chemicals present, but there could be sharp edges. Also, it's government property. It's against the law to keep it as a souvenir or sell it on eBay. NASA's advice is to report it to the police.

  At first I was like: "WTF If it lands on my land it's MINE!"

  But then I realised that if some idiot drives his car into my fence, I don't have the right to keep his car. . .

  Seriously though if it lands on my property I'm taking souvenirs!

  nugget and i are helping amelia prepare for her statement to the police tomorrow.

  one of the possible objections is that the term "mentally diseased" is metaphorical.. when people answered on this paragraph did they say "people who leave are metally diseased" or did they say "they are like mentally diseased" people?.

  if they said the former it would indicate that they did not take it metaphorically..

  Took me a few minutes. I kept trying to bring in extra information as if it was a joke. Once I considered that ALL the information needed was included in the question I got it right away.

  Seriously though, just because I might be able to think like a psycopath when I want to, it doesn't mean I lack a conscience or that I think like that all the time.

  This was a test by a famous American Psychologist used to test if one has the same mentality as a killer.

  Who was he and does he have any more? I like these kind of riddles that don't depend on puns and stupid double meanings.

  Also if he CAME UP with the test, doesn't that mean he himself has the metality of a killer?

  A little-known fact is that these Aliens are mining the moon for fluorides and they are having the government (which they control) put them into our drinking water to destroy our vital & essential bodily fluids.

  Actually they put the fluorides in our drinking water in order to power the ceramic microchips they implanted in us to control our brains and force us to commit terrorism.

  That way we will support the war on terror which they are funneling funds from in order to pay off the scientists perpetrating the climate change hoax.

  They need us to believe in climate change so that we will stop producing C02 emmisions which burn the aliens skin. Once the C02 is down to a tollerable level the aliens are going to invade take the planet back from the lizard people.
