Another question for those who attended the "Mentally Diseased" Watchtower
by cantleave innugget and i are helping amelia prepare for her statement to the police tomorrow.
one of the possible objections is that the term "mentally diseased" is metaphorical.. when people answered on this paragraph did they say "people who leave are metally diseased" or did they say "they are like mentally diseased" people?.
if they said the former it would indicate that they did not take it metaphorically..

Anyone who makes that claim is a metaphorical idiot!

Are You a Psychopath?
by sizemik inpsychopath test.

this is not a trick question it is as it reads.. .

Took me a few minutes. I kept trying to bring in extra information as if it was a joke. Once I considered that ALL the information needed was included in the question I got it right away.
Seriously though, just because I might be able to think like a psycopath when I want to, it doesn't mean I lack a conscience or that I think like that all the time.
This was a test by a famous American Psychologist used to test if one has the same mentality as a killer.
Who was he and does he have any more? I like these kind of riddles that don't depend on puns and stupid double meanings.
Also if he CAME UP with the test, doesn't that mean he himself has the metality of a killer?
This is, of course, not a real method of detecting psychopaths: http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/hoaxes/sister.asp
But it's a fun riddle anyway!

Cities On Moon?
by metatron insee:.
http://beforeitsnews.com/story/1091/566/nasa_whistleblower:_alien_moon_cities_exist.html.
there are so many people with rank and deep experience in government coming forward with these sort of stories, it is hard to believe that the media ignores it and the world goes on as if we were all alone in the cosmos.. metatron.

A little-known fact is that these Aliens are mining the moon for fluorides and they are having the government (which they control) put them into our drinking water to destroy our vital & essential bodily fluids.
Actually they put the fluorides in our drinking water in order to power the ceramic microchips they implanted in us to control our brains and force us to commit terrorism.
That way we will support the war on terror which they are funneling funds from in order to pay off the scientists perpetrating the climate change hoax.
They need us to believe in climate change so that we will stop producing C02 emmisions which burn the aliens skin. Once the C02 is down to a tollerable level the aliens are going to invade take the planet back from the lizard people.

Do you think you could combine the 'Philosophy and Mission' with the 'About Us' section.
This would firstly cut down on the number of pages your viewers have to read.
It would also allow you to move the "Links to Jeffs Articles" button up to the top bar and get them all on one line.
And having fewer pages makes your site less intimidating.
Oh, and the 'Contact Us' link at the bottom of your home page actually takes you a sample page instead of linking to your 'contact us' page
Lastly. There is NO mention of pricing anyone on the site, which is fine I guess, but it means that the customer is going to HAVE to use the contact us form if they are even slightly interested.
But your contact us form is scary, do you really need their full name, address and 2 phone numbers?
I realize those forms can be left blank but a suprising number of people think you have to fill out all those forms and it will probably scare them away.
Maybe you should only ask for their name, phone number and email address.
And I wouldn't seperate it into first and last names, it seems friendlier to just ask for their name, they'll tell you what they want to tell you. And let them know the phone number is optional.

JWs and hard times
by xelder inthe developed world is having hard economic times.
so, for a while now jw's have been voicing the familiar "it can't go on...things are so hard".
i'm in the usa, and the economics are tough, relative to this country.

Times are SO tough. . . I've had to cancel cable and switch to Neflix!
These are truly the last days!
Times aren't tough. We're living like KINGS compared to every other time period in human history.

What good is punishment after you die?
by Lore inwhen your child disobeys, you punish him.
simple answer: so he will listen next time and won't disobey again.. if the child has a learning disorder and is incapable of learning from the punishment, odds are you will stop punishing him and will deal with his condition in other ways.. we punish children in order to change their behavior.
if the punishment does not promote a change in behavior the punishment is useless and possibly evil.. .

I was addressing the "what" that you are arguing "against" because it's false to begin with. I think that throwing out such things in a manner that suggests they are/might be TRUE... further perpetuates the harm done by those who do teach them as true... to those who accept them as true.
Well then I think we can both agree it's not true. But that doesn't change the fact that almost a third of Americans believe in it.

Ugly people and crimes.
by Lore ini like to think that i'm perfectly rational at all times.. so in the interest of making myself more awesome i'd like to admit to and try to to fix a prejudice i think i may have.
but i'd also like to make sure it's not grounded in reality.. .
so earlier i saw a story about a woman who killed her baby in the microwave.

Not to mention a cannible. He didn't last long in prison.
Why? People in prision are poisonous or something?

Can you show me, dear Lore (peace to you!) where God does this simply because one sinned?
Ummmmmmm, no? I'm arguing against it, not for it. To attempt to prove it true would be a bit counterproductive.
