It works throughout the whole study article. I'm guessing it'll work for next weeks as well.
I'm not sure why it amuses me so much.

14 Jehovah has equipped us to resist the spirit
of the world. The apostle Paul said to “go on acquiring
power in the Lord and in the mightiness
of his strength . . . that you may be able to resist
in the wicked day.” (Eph. 6:10, 13) By means
of his spirit, Jehovah fortifies us to withstand Satan’s
efforts to mislead us. (Rev. 12:9) The spirit
of the world is strong, and we cannot avoid it
altogether. However, we do not have to be corrupted
by it. Holy spirit is even stronger, and it
will help us!
Hopefully it'll make your next sunday just a little less miserable.
i do, so i was just curious.. i know the org tends to attract/cause/contribute to people having low self-esteem, so i figure a lot of people must have it as bad or worse than me..
My self-esteem is exceptionally high relative to what a worthless person I am.
Here's the subject:
Preach More. (Here's the formula x+10=y , where X = however many hours you are currently doing and Y = the amount of hours you should be doing.)
Be Patient, the end is near! No seriously this time!
The Bible is true, so long as it does not disagree with the Watchtower.
Don't listen to Apostates. They are closed-minded so you should not even listen to them.
Stay off the Internet. Unless you have at least 2 elders in the room watching the screen at all times.
Deaden your body members as respects uncleaness. (Spoilers: They're talking about your penis!) Make sure you look like sane adults when attending the convention.
The theme doesn't actually matter when the content is always the same.
you know how witnesses will say they have to go to a lot of doors looking for someone 'with an open mind'.. they might even study with someone for months and then if they eventually call off the study they'll be considered 'closed-minded'.
.
i find that funny..

1) what is the shortest book in the bible?.
2) what is the longest chapter in the bible?.
3) what is the shortest chapter in the bible?.
I didn't know god wasn't mentionted in Ester.
But I'm pretty sure god isn't mentionted in Song of Solomon either.

3) what is the shortest chapter in the bible?.
It's your quiz, so I hate to argue. But while 2 John has the fewest verses, individual versus vary in length.
3 John has the fewest words of any bible book and would therefore be the shortest.
would you like to know where to start and what books to read?.
feel free to ask any questions about evolution.
it concerns me that a minority of people who admit not reading the theory or it's evidence, muddy the waters of this forum with their gut feelings and ignorant self experiments.
Please recommend a book that explains what happened before evolution took over, namely spontaneous generation.
OP: "Hey guys, I'm interested in Football, if anyone has any questions about Football feel free to ask!"
NDrew: "Tell me about Nascar!"

I'll answer these without googling, since, well, googling would pretty much make the questions pointless.
1) What is the shortest book in the Bible? - 3 John
2) What is the longest chapter in the Bible? - Psalm 119
3) What is the shortest chapter in the Bible? - Psalm 117
4) What is the longest verse in the Bible? - I dunno, probably something written by Paul. . . he was kind of wordy.
5) What is the shortest verse in the Bible? - "Jesus Wept" wherever that was.
6) Which book in the Bible does not mention the word "GOD"? - Song of Solomon
7) Who were the two men in the Bible who never died but were caught up to Heaven? - Elijah and Enoch.
8) Who does the Bible say was the meekest man in the Bible (not including Jesus)? Moses, the guy who MURDERED an Egyptian, and got into arguments with god. . . supposedly he was meek..
9) Is the Bible the world oldest (the oldest religious book) book? - No. I think the oldest currently known is either a Hindu text or some egyptian hyroglyphs.
10) Is the Bible still the best-selling book in the world? - The Bible and the Quaran are the two most PRINTED books, but they aren't really sold as often as they are given away. So to the letter of the question: No, it is not the best-selling book inthe world.
for thousands of years humans lived together intimately without bottled mouthwash, toothpaste, underarm deodorant or dipilatory creams.. .
then, some smart merchandizer started advertising an incessant message: your breath stinks, your teeth aren't white, you're pits are odious, and hey lady, you've got a moustache on your lip!.
suddenly made self-conscious by these accusations the world scrambled to stock their bathroom cabinets with billions of dollars worth of the products!.

I don't think we need advertisers to tell us that stinky breath is stinky.
Actually the practice of brushing your teeth is pretty old. Ziddina already mentioned the Egyptians.
According to the second most holy book to muslims after the Quaran, the Sahih Bukhari, Muhamad would brush his teeth every morning with a Siwak.
"Allah's Apostle said, 'If I had not found it hard for my followers or the people, I would have ordered them to clean their teeth with Siwak for every prayer.' (Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Friday Prayer, Volume 2, Book 13, Number 12)
"Allah's Apostle I said, 'I have told you repeatedly to (use) the Siwak. (The Prophet put emphasis on the use of the Siwak.) (Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Friday Prayer, Volume 2, Book 13, Number 13)"
And that, by the way, is much better advice than you'll find anywhere in the Bible.
